Eren's POV

Time skip 5 years

(Y/n), Armin, Mikasa and I have been living together for the past 5 years. We are all 12 years old now and we are of age to join the scouts.

"First day of training is today." Mikasa says. I sigh.

"They couldn't have waited a bit longer?" Armin asked nervously.

"I'm ready for training! I'm going to make the titans eat shit!" (Y/n) said.

Damn. She's so hot. Even her attitude is hot. I thought to myself. "I'm ready too! Those titans can kiss my ass!" I chimed in.

"I'm only joining the scouts cause you are." Armin said pouting. (Y/n) laughed.

"Oh Armin! Grow up!" She said. Her (H/c) hair was so beautiful. I wonder if she felt the same way. A bell rang, signaling for the cadets to line up. We all ran to the courtyard and lined up in even rows. An ugly man walks in front of the cadets.

"LISTEN HERE YOU DUMB FUCKS, MY NAME IS KEITH SADIES BUT YOU CAN CALL ME CHIEF KEITH!" He began. "MY ONLY GOAL IS TO MAKE YOUR LIVES A LIVING HELL!"

Certainly not what we were expecting... I thought. Chief Keith continued by individually tormenting people. He came up to Armin.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" He demanded.

"A-Armin Arlert sir!" He stammered.

"WERE YOUR PARENTS MENTAL? WHAT KIND OF NAME IS THAT?!" Chief Keith screamed.

"I-I" Armin began.

"FORGET IT, WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU HERE?!" Keith snapped back.

"Because my friends joined and I didn't wanna leave their side!" Armin blurted.

"ARMIN ARLERT YOU ARE GOING TO BE A PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A SOLDIER!" Keith yelled.

"I-I'm so sorry sir! I'll try my best!" Armin said, trying not to sound like he was about to piss himself. Chief Keith ignored it and found a girl to intimidate. For some reason, he skipped me, Mikasa, and (Y/n). I wonder why.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU EATING? AND WHY HERE OF ALL PLACES?!" Keith screamed.

"I was hungry and wanted this baked potato!" The girl said loudly but calmly. Keith looked angry.

"WHATS YOUR NAME POTATO GIRL?" He demanded. She gave her heart with one hand and held the potato in the other.

"My name is Sasha Braus, sir!" She said confidently.

"I DON'T FUCKING CARE!" He said. Sasha nodded. "I'M GOING TO PUNISH YOU FOR THIS GIRL!" Keith screamed.

"I apologize sir," Sasha began. She broke her potato into 2 uneven sections. "Have half." She said, holding out 1/4 of the potato to Keith.

"Half?" Keith accepted it and moved on. "I'm still going to punish you." He said with a scowl. Keith then moved on to a boy with brown hair and freckles. I look over at (Y/n), who seems to have a hard time containing her laughter.

"WHY THE HELL DO YOU LOOK SO HAPPY?!" Keith screamed.

"Because I wanna live every day like it's my last!" The boy said cheerfully.

"LOOK KID, KILLING TITANS ISN'T GOING TO MAKE YOU HAPPY FOR LONG. YOU WILL WANNA DIE AFTER LIVING THIS HELL!" Keith shouted. "WHAT'S YOUR NAME?!"

"I'm Marco!" He said with a smile. I turn to
(Y/n).

"I wonder what the point of this is." I said, looking into (Y/n)'s (E/c) eyes.

"I dunno but it's pretty funny just watching this old man yell at us like this." (Y/n) said with the cutest smile.

God. I just want to kiss her right now. But this isn't the time. Once we go to the training houses. I'll have my chance. I thought. I see blush across her cheeks too. Could it be? She likes me back? No no. I'm getting ahead of myself.

Keith intimidated a lot more people and then let us go back to the training houses that the cadets were kept.

"It sucks that the girls and boys have to be separated!" (Y/n) pouted. She looked at me. My heart raced.

"Yeah... I wish we could all be together. At least we get to eat meals together!" I said with a smile. (Y/n) nodded.

"Yeah I guess we should look on the bright side." She said. Mikasa cleared her throat.

"Ahem! We're here too!" She began. "You and (Y/n) have just been ignoring Armin and I."

"Sorry." I say, immediately dismissing the point. "Hey (Y/n), can I ask you something?"
