CHAPTER FIFTY SIX

While she was busy attacking the ones in front of her, she didn't notice a man behind her which lead her to be kicked hard until she fell down on the ground.

Two men held both of her arms and lift her body up in a kneeling down position. A man with a hook stands behind her and she doesn't know why she felt scared of him.

“This girl... Are you trying to save her?” They made her faced the lifeless body of Soliel and he kicked her body to checked if she was still alive.

That action made Luna tried to get out from their grip but failed due to how tired she already was. He didn't hesitate to slapped her hard that made a mark on her cheek before he made her way behind her.

She felt the man kneeled down to equal her, he grabbed a fist of her hair and pulled it hard that made her hissed in pain. “I will fucking kill you.”

Bhuwakul laugh at her bravery and put his sword close to Luna's neck, ready to slice it whenever he wants.

“No, I will kill you.” Luna's eyes widen when she felt a sharp thing slicing her neck slowly, giving her all the pain anyone can experience.

Bloods were dripping down to the grass, she couldn't fight anymore. She was slowly losing her energy to fight for her life, she can no longer saved her love.

But that wasn't enough for Bhuwakul, he placed his hand on Luna's shoulder before stabbing her from behind which made her arched her back and spit some blood out. She was done. She doesn't have the will to live again.

The men let her arms go, Luna's body slowly fell on the ground with Soliel's lifeless body next to her and the sword was still pierced through her body.

Even though, she wanted to go to the light to be with Soliel again so bad. She couldn't just die without trying to revive her love. Once the men in mask hopped on their horses and went away from the river to hide, Luna pushed herself up with the last energy she has.

She placed her hand under Soliel's knees then the other under her head before she stand up again and walked towards the Luna clan with the girl in her arms.

Soliel's hand was hanging as Luna made her way back to her parents, “We're... a-almost... home.” She stuttered, trying to contain the pain.

Luna could see her parents not far from her, “Dada...” She knew she can't take the pain anymore. She slowly let herself goes into the light and finally take her last breath along with.

“Mama...”

Chaeyoung was now filled with anger and hatred to Bhuwakul who laugh at her reaction, “Don't worry, you'll be with her soon.” He said before he started launching powerful attacks to the girl.

Using her sword to stop his attacks when she saw a perfect timing, she let her sword go and pulled Bhuwakul by his arm as she turned her back on him and effortlessly slammed his body on the bonfire, making him screamed in pain.

She took an explosive she used back then in the war and smirked, throwing it to the bonfire where Bhuwakul quickly rolled away to dodge.

They were confused why Chaeyoung was running away from them and he ordered his soldiers to run after her but before they could even passed by the bonfire, a loud and powerful explosion made them flew off the ground.

Chaeyoung hide herself behind a big tree and hugged herself as she felt a heat behind the tree, the ground shakes so hard that it could be feel from everywhere.
