We arrived at the airport, once we got out of the car we got our flight tickets to LA and we got past the metal detectors and we met up with Chaewon and the others. Normally we weren't allowed to run off to other people but my manager said it was okay. So I ran over to Chaewon with open arms. "Chaewon!" I shouted.
"Yeonjun you're here!" Chaewon said and we both embraced in front of public.
"How are you feeling?"
"A little bit nervous not gonna lie, I never traveled overseas."
"You'll be fine I promise." Thanks to the security, we weren't getting mobbed and we were escorted to the plane. Once on board we took time to find our seats, I was about to take my seat but Chaewon tugged my arm. "What is it?" I asked and turned to her.
"I want you to sit with me near the window!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes and I want you to sit with me so I feel safe!"
"No," I said.
"Yeonjunnie please? I'll feel scared otherwise!" Chaewon said and pouted.

"Fine, it's not like I didn't want to sit next to my darling angel Chaewonnie."
"That's our new nicknames huh? Very well then." We both sat down near the window and held hands while we looked out the window. Chaewon still seemed nervous even though I was next to her as she looked out the window.
"Terrifying I know, I used to be scared taking my first flight too. Once you're off the ground though it doesn't feel as bad as long as you don't look out the window." Chaewon hugged my arm tight once I said that.
"Promise nothing bad happens during the flight?"
"I promise." We both kissed each other before the flight attendant announced we'd be taking off. Once we were going up Chaewon tried her best not to panic while I comforted her. After we stopped increasing height, she began to calm down.
"Oh this isn't so bad!" Chaewon said.
"See I told you," I said.
"How long of a flight will this be?"
"... 13 hours..."
"That long? Damn we're gonna be here for awhile..."
"Yeah it's gonna be kinda boring huh? Which is why I brought this along!" I said and took out the Nintendo Switch we got from the arcade during one of our dates.
"Oh what a relief! I thought we'd end up doing nothing for hours!"
"I also have a portable charger for it when the battery gets drained."
"You came prepared as if you knew this would be a boring trip."
