Dariush and I quietly walked to the car. All we heard was the alien breathing and it just laid there not moving a muscle. Dariush climbed in the car from the right and I went in from the left. We searched under the seats but found nothing. Dariush reached forward to see if the key was there but he accidentally turned on the radio. "Shit! turn it off" I whisper screamed at him. When he turned it off the cassette fell down and landed next to the key. "I can't reach it." He whispered to me. "Let me try" I said to him. I couldn't reach it either, so I took my knife and caught the key with the tip of my knife. I grabbed it fast and then we climbed out of the car. "We got it!" Dariush screamed as I held up the key.

 At first the others were screaming happily but then they started shouting at us. We couldn't hear what they were saying so we looked at each other weirdly. But then we felt it. The alien moved both of its hand and scratched us. My leg and Dariush's stomach. We climbed back in car the same as before, but this time the alien tried to grab us, so we climbed out from the back. I looked after Dariush. He had a big cut on his stomach and breathed heavy. "Come on we gotta go!" I said getting up and helping him to get up as well. I limped to the others and when we reached them, Gabriel caught me. I laid my hand around his neck and he had his Hand around my waist to help me running a bit faster. We still had to get away from the alien, that luckily was still stuck under the car. 

"Are you guys okay?" Gabriel asked us "Yeah, yeah let's just get this key to JPL." Dariush said as we continued running.When we were far away from the alien, I saw that Alex and ZhenZhen stopped and talked. "Wait hold up"I said to Dariush and Gabriel. Gabriel let me down as I leaned on a giant Lobster. "We need to take care of our wounds" I said. I cut one of my sleeves apart from my jacket and tied it around my leg, to make it lose less blood. I looked around to find something for Dariush. I saw a big piece of fabric and asked Gabriel to get that for me. He grabbed it and helped me up so I could tie it around Dariush's stomach. "Is it to tight?" "No, it's okay. Thanks" Dariush said to me looking tired. 

"Yo, look, look!" Gabriel started looking towards something. He grabbed me so I could walk with him, and the others followed. "JPL" He said loudly for us all to hear. We started walking faster to realize that we really reached it. The building was completely destroyed nobody could have survived that. "He's still here" ZhenZhen said holding the radio in her hand. We followed Alex since he found a way into the building. We ran into a destroyed room and looked all around just to find Dr. Fielding dead. His blood tripped down on the beeper thing, thats what caused the morse code we followed. "We failed" Alex said as we all went to go out of the room. 

"I mean..." Dariush stopped and started talking. "let's be honest guys. Who do we think we are?" He said. "A nerd" "Criminal" "Orphan" came from the others "A joke" Dariush said. A loner. I thought, but I am not anymore, I met these kids and they made me better. "What? No you are not." I started talking, when they looked at me. "Alex, without your knowledge we wouldn't even know what JPL is and how the alien shit works. Gab, you were not understood and wrongly judged.  That doesn't make you a criminal. ZhenZhen, just as you said, you can always find a new family. That's us, we're family now. And Dariush, just because you think that stuff defines you, doesn't make that true, cause it's not. It's yourself that defines you." They looked at me all different. "And I did not come 70 miles here just to stop now. I will not just sit and wait here till this alien comes and kills us." "Guys, y/n is right. we gotta do something." Gabriel spoke up, I liked that he tried to help me "What are we supposed to do? The Doctor is dead and we know nothing about this place." Dariush talked back going to sit down somewhere and the others went with him.

 I looked disappointed at Gabriel who still stood beside me looking at the others. "Look they didn't even get to open this." Dariush said taking a bottle of win that laid beside him in his hands. "Well, since we're all gonna die together, may I propose a toast?" The others smiled at him, but I was just leaning against some counter and looked down at them. "Oh crap. This is from 1969! I mean, they could at least get some fresh wine if this is gonna be my first time, right?" He said as he threw the bottle away. I didn't wanna let it end just yet so I started limping around the room, pressing all kind of buttons just to find nothing. Until I pressed this one Button.
