Until the end of the World - Minsung

The boys were sitting at the cafeteria, joking around.

"How are you feeling about the mission Ji?"

Seungmin asked

"I'm happy, finally I'm on another mission! S is always delaying it"

"He has all his reasons tho, you're dangerous Hannie"

Changbin said, it sounded as a joke but they all knew he was actually serious

"Stop lying"

"It's true tho, you never come back from mission without an injury, I've never saw anyone get hurt that much"

Hyunjin said

"Ugh, that's minor injuries tho"

Jisung said, sighing

"How can you hurt yourself so much?"

"I have no idea"

"That's because squirrel doesn't care about anything"

Minho said, not even looking at him

"You weren't there, you shouldn't talk about things you don't know"

Jisung said, glaring at Minho

"He isn't wrong tho, remember your first mission?"

Throwback to han's first mission

Jisung and Chan had a mission, and Jisung was euphoric, it was the first one he ever had and was extremely excited for it. He was jumping everywhere while Chan was walking around the desertic city, searching for old houses or people they could help.

The mission was easy, they just had to go on a discovery walk. They go by car, leave the car at the beginning of a city, then walk around. They are armored and have big bags in case they find an abandoned supermarket they can steal from.

"Jisung, calm down, you'll bring attention that we don't need"

Chan nagged

"Sorry Channie, I'm happy to be here"

Jisung calmed down and walk at the same pace as Chan

"Look over there" Chan said pointing at a house "The house is open, we should see if someone needs help, or maybe we can find some materials"

They start walking to the house and Chan stop him in front of it

"Be careful and watch were you walk"

They enter the house, Chan was being careful but Jisung didn't listen to him, he just entered the house abruptly and started looking around. But as Jisung was about to enter a room, they heard zombie's growls. Chan was ready to run outside the house, taking a few things he saw in the house.

"Let's run J-"

Chan didn't had time to finish his sentence that Jisung ran in the zombie's direction. Chan was shocked and took a few seconds to realize Jisung's stupidity. Jisung started fighting the zombies, and he was doing well, but the house was old and Chan saw that the roof started falling on Jisung. He panicked and ran to Jisung, he grabbed him and brought him out of where the roof was falling, but he didn't have enough time to avoid it and they fell on Chan. Jisung gasped loudly and saw the last zombie trying to catch Chan that was under the debris. He jumped on the zombie and eliminated it quickly, and he started frantically taking the things off Chan. He was breathing loudly, totally scared for the other boy.

Chan finally got out of the fragments and he grabbed Jisung

"Hannie ! Are you okay? You aren't hurt right?"

Jisung didn't say anything, he watched his friend worrying for him when he almost died because of his own mistake. He couldn't answer and wanted to cry badly.

"Let's go back right now"

Chan started going out of the house and to the car, Jisung followed closely, looking at the ground. He was disappointed in himself and couldn't bring himself to speak to Chan. He watched Chan, and saw that he was limping and grabbing his arm, as if he was hurt. He started crying silently, he felt bad for hurting his friend.

They entered the car, and Chan sat on the passenger side

"I will not drive right now, can you?"

He watched Jisung and saw the tears in his eyes. Jisung nodded, still silent, and started driving

"I'm not mad Jisung"

Jisung nodded, even if Chan wasn't mad, Jisung hated himself

"Now you know that you have to be careful. We're both alive and that's what counts"

Jisung continued driving, still silent. They arrived at JYP and went out of the car. Their friends joined them, embracing them for coming back. Jeongin jumped on Chan but Chan winced at that, they all looked at Chan, worry in their eyes. They knew the older was careful, there was no way he could have gotten hurt.

"Channie, are you hurt?"

Jeongin asked, worry all over his face

"It's okay it'll pass, there was an accident"

Jeongin looked at Jisung

"What happened?"

Jisung couldn't answer, he started crying and they all looked at him. They understood that Jisung was feeling bad and didn't push him. Chan took Jisung arm and they went to the Med Building. They had to run a test to see if everything was okay. They run their test and everything came back negative, but as Jisung was ready to go to his dorm, Chan stopped

"I... have to go to the medic, I'm a bit hurt. Go to sleep Jisung, it's okay"

Jisung didn't answer and started crying again, silently. He walked around the city, and decided to sit down at the field, under a tree, appreciating the sun and the wind. He stopped crying and started sniffing. He heard footsteps coming to him, and saw Minho sitting next to him without saying anything. He knew the guy was going to nag him and mock him, and he didn't want to buy his bullshit. He wanted to change the conversation.

"What are you doing here?"

His voice came out as a whisper, his eyes were closed

"I had nothing to do, I came helping at the field a bit"

Jisung hummed as an answer

"You know squirrel, you have to know that everything that you learnt with X's will not be helpful here. He taught us how to survive, not how to live. You have to stop thinking the way X would like, and you have to learn how to protect others, not just yourself."

Minho said that calmly, and stood up, leaving.

Jisung didn't have time to answer, but he actually felt better.

They all had eaten, and Minho went to his room. He was tidying up his room, organizing his clothes, and his thoughts were all on Jisung.

The boy had trouble for himself when he was outside and he always felt a knot in his throat when Jisung was on a mission
