Breathing heavily and bloods running down my face as one of them hit my head pretty hard. I looked at Bhuwakul to finish this off and just kill him but he was with someone.

He was smirking at me before he take off the sack from that girl and it was Mina, "Seems like you forgot your wife, Chaeyoung." I took a step towards them but he aim his gun on her head.

"Come closer and I'll blow up her head." I gulped the lump of my throat and glared at him, "Stop being a pussy and find your own size to fight." I shouted at him.

Two men made me kneel down and grip on my shoulders tightly to stop me from escaping but honestly, I'm too tired. I could feel the tip of the knife on my knife but I don't care, I just want my wife.

"Chaeyoungieeee." He called like he was mocking me, "You will die or Mina will come with me?" He added as he raised one of his eyebrows.

"I'd rather be killed by you than let any of you filthy bastards take her!" I shouted as I chuckled, making one of the men holding me stabbed me on the back.

Fuck!

"Choose." He asked Mina instead, I quickly shake my head to tell her not to come with him to save me.

She was staring at me but I gave her a reassuring smile to let her know that I'm fine even the wounds are killing me in pain. "I'm okay, don't wor-- AH!" Another knife was stabbed in me.

"Motherfuckers." I whispered.

"She will die if you won't come with me, Mina. We don't want that to happen, do we?" Bhuwakul said softly and it was like she was manipulating Mina to come with him which I won't let it happen.

"Mina!" She looked at me, "Don't listen to him. I'm fine, mi amor." I said as my lips were shaking because the pain was slowly taking over my body.

In a second, I heard a gasp from my wife and I spit out some blood before I finally noticed a sword piercing through my body. I looked at her before I slowly fell on the ground, I could feel myself swimming in my own blood.

It hurts...

MINA'S P.O.V

"CHAEYOUNG!" I was about to rushed over to my wife but this guy held my arm tightly that it made me yelp in pain, "Let me go!" I shouted but he didn't care.

"You haven't answer my question, Mina." He coldly said.

"I will never marry someone like you! Let me go!" I saw him nodding at one of his soldiers who grabbed a fist of Chaeyoung's hair and pulled up her head before placing the sword that stabbed her in her neck.

"D-don't..." She said but I know she's in so much pain.

I couldn't bear to see her in pain, I don't want her to die trying to save me and the island. I don't want her to suffer again because of me.

I looked away and even it was against my will, "I'll come with you." He smiled at me as he traces his hand on my hair, "Just don't kill her, please." I begged and he caressed my cheek.

"As you wish, mi cielo." He said as he looked at his soldiers, "Let her go." They followed him.

I looked over my shoulder and saw my wife trying to stand up to follow us as we head to his ship, she was calling me but I ignored it even though I want to hugged her as tight as I could.

"MINA!"

That was the last time I heard her voice as the door behind me closes as the ship started moving back to his homeland.

I was watching them from a far until I couldn't see the Island anymore and that was when I finally broke down in tears because I know to myself that without a photo of them. As time goes by, I will slowly forget how they look like especially my wife and my daughter, Luna.

Their presence and warmth that keep me alive. It was slowly fading. Their voices that brings peace.

Please don't let me forget her voice.

They were busy getting everything ready, I walked towards the plank where they executes their enemies and turned around.

"MINA!"

Different voice, one from the love of my life and the other one from the person I hate to death.

I spread out my arms and felt freedom once again before I looked at the sky, there were two birds flying just above the ship which made me smile.

"Life without her is meaningless." I said before I let my fall into the deep ocean.

I didn't fight for air, I didn't swim to the surface. I was just there, slowly sinking and slowly closing my eyes to be finally free from everyone.

Free without them. Everything was gone, my love, my daughter, my family... my home. I lost everything in a quick second.

I'm such an idiot to expect a happy ending, an idiot who expects she deserves happiness.
