MCGEE'S POVMe, the real actual David Rossi and Agent Holman were on our way to search one of the victims'- Petty officer Griffiths- apartment
"Can I ask a question?" I asked leaning between the front seats where Agent Holman and Rossi were sat
"You've asked a question." Agent Rossi replied as Agent Holman laughed
"It's about the marines." I ignored the comment
"Shoot," Agent Holman said
"Do you have a series of rules?"
"Everything has rules," Rossi stated
"No rules like, never screw over your partner or you don't waste good or never assume?" I had to know if Gibbs got his rules from the marines and who better to ask than 2 marines who also went into federal agencies
"I've never heard of them," Agent Holman said "How about you Sergeant?"
"That's not me anymore, Agent or Rossi. I've never heard of them though, why do you ask?"
"Nothing important."

ZIVA'S POVI had heard a lot about Emily Prentiss from colleagues who worked with Interpol. Her team were famous for getting results but not always playing by the laws. But I wanted to make my own judgement about her.
"Agent David-"
"Call me Ziva."
"Ziva, I've heard a lot about you and your skills. How's NCIS treating you?" She said from the driver's seat, she wouldn't let me drive saying she'd heard stories about my driving- 'Like an Eastern European taxi driver' if that means anything-
"Well, I like the US and I like NCIS. How about you, you have quite the reputation from you're Interpol days, what made you want to work for the BAU?" I asked Emily
"A change, Interpol was great but I needed a change of pace. And possibly a boyfriend." I understood, it's hard.
"Have you found one?"
"I've found the perfect man, Sergio. Loving, foodie and poops in a box." She explained happily I wasn't going to take that any further
"He's a cat?" Agent Tara asked from the back seat
"Yeah, easier to keep happier than a guy." She nodded
"How about you Agent Tara?" I questioned the young agent
"I have a fairly stable relationship with FBI Agent Whistler." She said mysteriously
"I've met her, Kate right?" Emily asked turning onto the road where our victim's house was
"Yeah," Agent Tara smiled
"I interviewed her when she transferred from DIA, I forgot she came to Hawaii. How does the inter-agency thing work?"
"She is a liaison to NCIS so we don't have to do the whole 'Our work is classified' dance." We pulled to a stop outside the victim's house before undoing our seatbelts
"What do your co-workers think?"
"After she literally serenaded me at Tennant's house they know she loves me so I think they're okay about it." Agent Tara said before opening her door and getting out

TONY'S POV"So you're both ex-cops," Morgan said suddenly as we neared our destination
"Yeah, how'd you know?" Agent Boone asked, somehow he knew I was as well. He did work with Tennant so maybe she told him?
"Many things," Morgan smiled, he looked pleased with himself
"Alex told you." It was the only way he could have known I was a cop
"Only to confirm my suspicions. And not directly 'you and Tony have similar backgrounds' they meant police work. "
"I hate profilers," Agent Boone said from the back seat,
"You had previous encounters?"
"CGIS Agent Pike thinks he's some hotshot profiler."
"I know that name," Morgan picked up his phone and placed a call
"Morgan, what do you have?" Agent Hotchners voice filled the car
"Nothing yet we've not arrived but do you remember a CGIS Agent Pike at a conference not too long ago?"
"Yeah, eager not got it though. Why?"
"He's in Hawaii, he works here. the minute he knows we're here he will be too."
"Thanks for the warning, get to the victim's house."
"I'll call if we get anything else," Morgan hung up
"So, you were a cop too?" I asked
"Yeah, Chicago. You?" Morgan looked at me
"Few places Philly, Peoria but mostly Baltimore. Agent Boone?"
"DC, I spent three years on D.C's Joint Robbery Task Force."
"Wait Morgan slow down," I said noticing something odd about the guy walking down the street in front of our car, it was rush hour so we were stuck in traffic. Morgan didn't have to slow much.
"Why?"
"That guy, shortened stride on his right side and his arm is swinging less on that side," I said watching
"Hidden handgun?" Morgan asked
"Give me a sec... Yep, circular movement with his hand just after he stepped off the pavement and he's holding it as he ran across in front of the car." Agent Boone spotted the same thing
"Follow him," Morgan ordered
"Rule 27," I said getting out of the car and de-agenting myself
"Huh?" Morgan asked
"There are two ways to follow someone. First, they never notice you. Second, they only notice you." Agent Boone recited I threw him a confused look
"Tennant." He said simply before we went our separate ways to follow this guy.TUESDAY 21ST JULY 14:15 DC TIME/ 9:15 HAWAII TIME
ALEX'S POV"What do you want me to do?" I asked Spencer having the ever-growing list of jobs in my head
"Can you draw the comfort zones?" Spencer replied standing from his seat, the others had gotten into their teams and headed off. We were left in the conference room with JJ to get on with the geographical profiles.
"Sure, so looking for a mass murderer?"
"Actually I think we're looking for a spree killer. A mass murderer kills 4 or more people in one place at one time and make no attempt to hide, they often die from suicide by cop. Spree killers kill 2 or more people in more than one location with little to no cooling off period. This is technically more than one location."
"Then I'll plot the home addresses and where they were last seen. Also on the to-do list is to add the dump site, tag anywhere they could have been killed, possible hunting zone, possible comfort zone and the main routes from where they were last scene to the dump site oh and also where they were going to when they were last seen." I listed the enormity of our task dawning on me.
"So not much, I'm gonna go start calling families," JJ said standing from her seat and leaving
"I'll plot the home addresses and last seen locations." Spence grabbed a marker from the table and came to stand at the map next to me with the files on the table behind us.
"Thanks, so... why'd you call me?" I said after a pause
"I said I needed your help." Spence defended
"You weren't even here yet, plus it's not all that complicated. And I'm not a qualified profiler."
"You've read the books. I know you knew it was a spree killer." He smiled at the end, probably out of nerves
"Yeah but..."
"I wanted you here," Spence said
"I know, I understand. I just wanted to check you were okay."
"I'm good. You do also have an A-level in psychology."
"I also have A-levels in history, classics and biology but would never be a doctor, historian or classicist."
"You wanted to be a doctor!" Spence laughed continuing to plot on the map
"Then I realised quite how much work it was and decided to work for MI6 instead."
5 minutes later my phone rang
DiNozzo NCIS
the contact read, great he's already got something
"What'cha got DiNozzo?"
"We haven't even got there yet, we got a problem though," DiNozzo spoke
"Let me guess you caused it?" I asked knowing him it was a big one
"No! We saw a guy with a gun. we followed him and it ended in a shootout." He defended
"Shit is everyone okay?"
"We're fine but we have a crime scene here." I heard Jesse in the background, they must be on speaker
"Okay I'll get the bosses to you, do you need anything else?"
"Get Ernie to get Commander Chase," Jesse said
"I'll get Ducky and Palmer too."
"Thanks, Al."
