Next morning....

Finally She got discharged and this so-called expensive hospital demanded 7 thousand rupees. I gave the money and both came out.

She took the relief breath. I was going towards the park but she held my hand and pulled me towards opposite road.

"Ice cream khayega?? " She asked me excitedly and I nodded. She smiled and about to go towards the vendor but I stopped her and myself went to buy ice cream. I came with Butterscotch and black current cone.

"Areyy ye toh bahut mehangi wali ice cream leli tune" She said while making pout but licked her lips.

"Maine cone wali ice cream kabhi nhi khayi" She said shocking me and took both cones happily.

"She doesn't live her life till this date. She didn't know anything. How she survived all these years alone?? She didn't even want to leave me alone. She is scared of family love too...why Advika" I was lost in my thoughts thinking all these.

"Bahut tasty hai yaar dono" She said and forwarded me butterscotch cone.

"Sorry, I got excited and forget about you" She said and smile sheepishly.

"No, you can eat both" I said but she thrust the cone in my mouth lightly.

"Advika... I saw a room for us in the chawl. Flat Owner didn't live here. We just have to contract him through the phone"

"Okk" Advika trusted him so she nodded in everything without listening as she concentrated on her ice cream.

After 3 days,

They got the room finally. The room was big and had few shelves to keep luggage, a single bed, kitchen slab and a small bathroom too. They don't have so many things. Just a few pairs of clothes and he has some books with few essential things. The room was enough for both of them.

"The room is not that bad" She said and started cleaning the room. He looked at her and started helping her. Room was locked for so many days so it was so dusty. He went and bought a broom for cleaning.

They both got tired till evening. She got thirsty. So, he went outside to fill the water bottle from the general hand pump and tap. There he got to know the timing of water too.

"Idhar naya hai kya tu?" A few boys blocked my way and a boy asked me. I nodded but inside I was thinking maybe these boys will try to bully me but to my shock they asked me to join to play.

"Koun koun hai tere sath"

"Mai aur mera bhai" Advika is tom boy and I don't want anyone to know that we are living together.

"Tu aur tera bhai chahe toh khel sakta hai humare sath" A boy who seems leader of the gang said.  I shook my head in no. It's good as they didn't have to make Advika as their friend.

"No... We both do work, so didn't get time to play with you guys. By the way thank you for asking" I said to them politely. They all rolled their eyes and cleared my path. I smiled

"Advika ki tomboy image kahi toh kaam aayi. She is really so different" I thought and hurriedly entered the home to find her asleep on the floor. I took steps towards her to wake her up but she is sleeping soundly.

I don't know what came in me but I kissed her forehead lightly. We know each other for very less time but she become integral part of my life. I promise myself to protect her. She is so naive for this cruel world. I took her in my arms and laid her down on bed. She didn't even budge that means she is a heavy sleeper. After that I went to buy dinner for us.

POV ends

At night...

Viyaan was sleeping on the floor. Advika opened her eyes and yawned while stretching her hands and legs. Her eyes fell on Viyaan who was sleeping on the floor.

She saw a polybag on the kitchen slab and saw the time in the phone 10'O clock.

"Baapre mai itni der so gyi? Viyaan ne uthaya bhi nhi mujhe" She said snd pouted.

"Upar se ye niche kyu so raha hai?" Advika said and shook him.

"Viyaan uth na..... Mujhe bhook lagi hai" She said and he opened her eyes and still closed it. These days he wasn't able to get much sleep.

She again shook him but he pulled her head on his chest to shut her up.

"Hmm... Neend aa rhi hai mujhe" He said and again slept.

Advika feels butterflies in her stomach lying her head on his chest. He was holding her head from to back.

"Ye azeeb sa kyu feel ho raha hai mujhe" She thought and raised her head removing his hand.

She stood up and pour water on his face from the bottle.

He opened his eyes immediately and took a long breathe. She looked at him and laughed.

"Are you mad?" He shouted but she showed her tougue and turned towards kitchen. But he was not less, he also took his bottle and pour on her head.

"Viyaan" She shouted but this time he laughed.

"You started it first"

"I will not leave you"

"Yes you are chipku" He said and they both were running in the room only. She throw the plastic bottle on him when she didn't able to catch him and She collided with the corner of the bed and got a scratch on the little finger of her foot. She winced and he stopped finally.

Both drenched the floor with water.

"You are really mad" He said while coming towards her.

"Accha but you are very bad. Just because of you I hurt my foot from the corner of the bed" She said while glaring at him and sat on the bed.

"I didn't tell you to run behind me" He said with a sly smile and took the seat beside her.

"Just shut up" She said and try to blow air on her scratch. He smiled and took her feet on his palm and washed it with water while blowing air on it.

"Iti si toh lagi turant thik ho jayegi" He said and went towards the kitchen.

"He is right.. I never cared about small scratches. I got plenty of bruises while working to meet my necessities but in front of him I even winced for this scratch.....Why?" She thought and looked at him who was serving food on the disposal plates.
