{Jake's POV}
I went through the day while receiving glares from other people, insults from them, getting shoved around the hallways, and also receiving three death threats. I swore I felt like I was in middle school again, but this time I was able to talk to Daisy and Lia. Well, when no one else was around to drag the two of them away. "At least it'll all be over with by Sunday." I was on the way home when I felt someone tap my shoulder causing me to turn around.

"Hey Jake." Said Sean now holding onto his backpack with not of his arms.

"Sean? Hey, what's up?" I said now completely facing him.

"Daisy told me that you were moving to Japan and I thought that I could hang out with you before you left." Sean said smiling lightly.

"Oh, I would love to, but I have to continue packing up to move." I said trying to sound nice even though I was having a pretty bad day.

"That's okay, I was just wondering." Sean said while still smiling.

"Well, thank you." I said smiling genuinely this time. "Is there anything else?"

He froze for a second before answering. "Can I ask you a question?"

I'm confused. "Sure?"

He fidgeted with his fingers while his face grew red from blush. "If I were to... start dating Daisy while you're gone,... would you be mad at me?"

I was shocked. "Sean likes Daisy?" I already knew my answer to that question. "As long as you don't hurt her, you're perfect."

Sean looked like a little kid whom I just promised a bucket of candy, chocolate, and cake. "Really?!"

"Yeah, I don't actually like her in a romantic way like I said before, I see her as a sister." I said while chuckling in the middle of the sentence.

"Oh,... well,... thank you Jake." Sean said relaxing a lot more.

"No problem." I said while starting to turn around. "Oh, and if escalates to her being in a white dress in a church (marriage) you better invite me."

He froze and I swear the melanin in his skin was acting up and turned him into a tomato. "Sh-shut up!"

"See ya Sean!" I while walking away.

"Bye Jake!" Sean said now waving me bye and hiding his blush covered face, I couldn't help but laugh a bit. "I'm also sorry about what the music club has done and I'm going to miss you a ton!"

I froze, but it wasn't because he was sorry, it was because that he was gonna miss me. He's told me that he was sorry a dozen times even after I said it was okay. I couldn't ask him about it because he wasn't there long enough for me to do that. "He's probably in a rush to get ready for the music competition." I decided to text him:

"Hey, I forgot to say this, but good luck at the competition tonight."

S- "Thank you Jake, you're a great friend."

"The music club says other wise."

S- "I don't care what they say, you're fine and we should've let you explain."

"Thank Sean, but I shouldn't have said that stuff in the first place."

S- "I guess, but still. I'll let you know how it goes later."

"Okay, thank you Sean."

S- "No problem, we figured a way for Hailey to not freeze without you being there."

"That's good. I hope you guys win."

S- "Thanks JMS."

"What's 'JMS'?"

S- "Your initials, 'Jake Michael Sterling' 'JMS' it just works."

"Ha, nice."

S- "Yeah, but I better get ready or I'm gonna end up being late for the competition."

"Alright, cya."

S- "Cya."

I couldn't help but smile. "At least they can help Hailey and have a chance of winning the competition." I just went upstairs to my room and started to pack up some more things before hearing my brother enter the house.

"Jake!! I need to talk to you!" Milo screamed for me from downstairs, but he didn't sound mad or angry.

"Okay!" I called downstairs.

I went downstairs. I laughed at one of our pictures in the hallway of us on our last family vacation to Colombia. We went there because my mom, Anessa , was born there. The picture was us at the Rainbow River, our moms were laughing as Milo was splashing around like a fish because I picked up a snake and he got scared. "That was a fun vacation." I continued to walk downstairs until I saw Milo at the door, but...

"Why's Milo's nose bleeding?!"

"Milo, are you okay?" I asked worried. "Did someone hurt him? If they do so help me god!"

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just..." He stopped talking and looked at the floor.

"Mi, you know that you can tell me anything since I'm your older brother." I said while wiping a bit of the blood from under his nose.

"Yeah, it's just that... I got into a fight." He said while looking at the picture of us as a family on the wall.

I could've sworn that if I wasn't wiping away the blood on his nose, I would've been jumping for joy. "Oh, well did you win?"

Milo smiled like he was just promised 75 bags of caramel squares. "Yeah, obviously."

"Oh thank god, I thought you lost and that's why you were looking away from me." I said while putting a hand on my chest while breathing out.

"Nah, the blood from my nose was from the punch that started the fight." Milo said while pointing at his nose.

I smiled and I did start jumping around like a 13 year old girl who just got a boyfriend. "Yes! I never should've doubted you on that!"

"I swear you haven't changed since you were a child." Milo said while smirking.

"Why, because of me jumping around, or from me being happy that my little brother won in a fight?" I asked smiling back. "Also, you weren't even old enough to remember me as a child."

Milo just rolled his eyes. "The first one and I know that I was too young to remember you being a child."

I just chuckled a bit. "Any way, you ready for more packing for our move?" 

"Yup!" Milo said while jumping up and down slightly.

"And you say I act like a child." I said.

"Shut up." Milo said after he stopped jumping.

"Yeah, this move to Japan is a good idea. I hope everything will be okay while I'm gone."
