Matt and Kelly learn just how serious the situation is in Oregon, Sylvie learns more about paramedicine, no one at 51 has time for drunks who insult their own, and in New York, Bernard probably spends an entire case wondering what in the world he did to get Frank Cosgrove as a partner. That's fine with Cosgrove, he's just rolling with the job, never mind what Bernard thinks.
Enjoy "The Right Thing" from Chicago Fire and the law side of "The Right Thing!" . . . I'm serious, both of these episodes are titled "The Right Thing." Yes, I laughed when I realized that, too.

Fire Cop: Why am I the last one to learn the captains are back in Chicago
Fire Squaddie: Because there's now only one captain in Chicago
Fire Cop: Elaborate
Fire Medic: Three captains were here
Fire Medic: Two left for Oregon
Fire Medic: One stayed in Chicago
Fire Medic: I didn't major in math
Fire Medic: But I'm pretty solid at basic subtraction
Fire Cop: Go to hell Greg
Fire Squaddie: Three amigos minus one amigo is two amigos
Fire Cop: I hate both of you
Fire Squaddie: In all seriousness we didn't see much of them while they were here
Fire Medic: Whatever their best friend's son came for must've been important
Fire Cop: Pretend I was nowhere near 51 while they visited
Fire Squaddie: A former firefighter at 51 was killed in the line of duty
Fire Squaddie: At some point in time Casey had temporary custody of his kids
Fire Squaddie: When their mom got out of prison for a DUI she moved them out of Chicago
Fire Squaddie: Seven, eight years later the oldest son comes back asking for Casey
Fire Cop: And all three of them flew here for that?
Fire Medic: The senior members of the house have really fond memories of the firefighter
Fire Medic: And he went through the academy with Casey and Severide
Fire Medic: Knew Severide since grade school apparently
Fire Cop: Wow
Fire Cop: So Casey and Severide flew out to Oregon?
Fire Squaddie: And Brett's here
Fire Squaddie: For now anyway
Fire Cop: For now?
Fire Medic: Current bet in the house is where she goes afterwards
Fire Cop: Back to Austin, I assume?
Fire Squaddie: Is that your bet?
Fire Cop: What's the other option
