Y/N POV
On-jo began backing up slowly and her small movements forced me to react. I tried to make my way over to her but kept getting pushed aside by fleeing students. Pushing my way through the crowd proved to be harder than I thought.
"ON-JO!!" I screamed after her but she didn't turn, she only kept backing up slowly until she was knocked over. As I went to run to her again I was pushed back into a desk but got up quickly. At the entrance of the cafeteria was a boy keeping a bloodied girl from biting at his face. On-jo was sitting right in front of them and when the girl pried herself loose she started to charge at her but I was already running. With all my force I pushed the bloodied girl over a table and grabbed On-jo's hand dragging her along with me towards Cheong-san who took cover under a table.
I began looking around frantically with On-jo in hand trying to find an escape.

No way in hell
Finally I got an idea.
"CHEONG-SAN!" He looked around trying to find me. When he did I pointed at the windows. Understanding what I was thinking he made a run for the closest window and kicked a table against the wall for better access. I pulled a dazed On-jo along side me all the way to the wall. I needed to make sure it was clear enough for us to safely jump out the window. Quickly I handed On-jo over to Cheong-san. He looked at me.
"We need to let On-jo go first, she's not in the right state of mind right now." I shook my head.
"I need to make sure it's clear first." Luckily I was tall enough not to need assistance
climbing up. The drop was a bit higher than expected causing me to fall over but no harm was done. As I picked myself up with a grunt I heard a growl to my right. Aw shit. With a spare glance up I was able to see On-jo getting ready to jump over. I hate past me for not taking cardio seriously. Turning back to the blood stained boy I made a split second decision. Scream and run. I had to make sure the way was clear for On-jo and Cheong-san. "HEY, OVER HERE!" I yelled while waving my arms running in the opposite direction. The boy began to chase me and I started picking up the pace as I saw the entrance to the main building come into view.
Luckily I had enough of a distance advantage to close the door behind me although that wouldn't really hold anyone back. There was a loud scream behind me and I whipped my head around. Another boy with.. Is that a freaking cone? Without thinking further I rushed over to whoever was being attacked and tore the boy off of them and onto the ground. Ms.Park lay there breathing heavily but we had no time to take a breather more crazies were on their way. I took her hand and dragged her up the stairs trying to avoid as many of these things as possible but we were separated while running up the stairs. One of those things caught my leg.
"Y/N!," Ms.Park yelled about to rush back down the stairs. I tried to kick the girl off my leg but she wouldnt let go. Without turning back to Ms.Park I yelled for her to keep going and find a safe place. After a few more kicks to the face the damned thing finally let go and I ran up another two flights of stairs. Is this what dying feels like. My chest hurt from so much running and before I could turn the corner I was hit in the face by a bunch of white powder.
"What the hell is this?" Voices were heard in the distance and I pushed my way through to the source of the voices. Dae-su stood banging outside a classroom door waiting to be let in.
"Brother in-law," he said and the door whipped open. I was able to get there fast enough to see Wu-jin and Gyeong-su who opened the door a bit wider for me. Stumbling in I let myself lean back against the wall and catch my breath. I had yet to notice anyone besides those three in the room. With closed eyes I let my head lean back as well and let my body rest. Not even a minute later when I felt a hand on my shoulder causing me to stand up quickly and back up. I relaxed when I saw Cheong-san. Wait Choeng-san?
"Cheong-san, did you get On-jo here okay?" I look around panicked until I made eye contact with her and ran over. On-jo hugged me before stepping back.
"How dare" SMACK! "you call" SMACK! "a zombie towards you" SMACK! Zombie? Huh? Okay. I caught her hand before pulling her in for another hug, this time holding her a little longer.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted you both to be safe." I pulled back to look at her. She was still upset but at least now she wasn't hitting me. I pushed my hair back again as I turned to the boys next to us. Wu-jin pointed at me and Dae-su.
"What happened to your faces?" Dae-su turned around still cleaning his face. I hadn't bothered to clean off, I was too tired. Taking a look around the room I saw a few others including Na-yeon surprisingly.
"Some Jerk sprayed me with a fire extinguisher." I notice On-jo turn in the opposite direction before walking off to I-sak. "Yah, what's even happening?" Cheong-san begins walking over to us after glancing out the window.
"Train to Busan." I pinched my brows together before looking at him.
"The zombie movie?" He nods his head. He and Dae-su fall into a tiny argument about him watching too much TV as I decide to take a look for myself. There were students running in all directions and non-stop screaming. Some student were covered in blood others were already attacking or..snacking. The three boys except for Gyeong-su join me by the window watching the chaos unfold when a bang on the window besides us makes us all jump. SU-HYEOK! Cheong-san opens the window quickly and all three boys pull him in. With a peek outside I see Nam-ra right behind him. I offer her a hand which she takes and help her inside just as a zombie takes down the ladder they had just been on. They're both out of breath but Su-hyeok like myself let's himself fall onto the ground panting.
"It's that isn't it? Zombies."
After we all took a breather we began to think of something that would help.
"A phone," Cheong-san said. "We need a phone to call the police. Maybe they can help us." We all spread out and started looking for a phone in backpack or desks. It wasn't long before I-sak found one.
"Whose is it?" We crowded around her.
"Yeong-ju's, but it's locked." I look around the room thinking of another way when my eyes fall on Yeon-ju outside the door. I point to her.
"There. She's outside the door." Cheong-san takes the phone from I-sak and tries to get facial recognition to open the phone but to no avail.
"You don't need the password to make an emergency phone call, just call 112," On-jo informs him. Damn, I feel dumb. With Cheong-san making the call I took a spot near the window again. Nam-ra was sitting a few spots away and I decided to make contact. I hadn't spoken much to her but only because, well, she never spoke to any of us.
"Nam-ra, are you okay?" I asked turning to look at her. She turned to me and gave a slight nod before turning back. My attention turned back to the group when I heard On-jo's voice.
"There's a massive fire at Hyosan High school." Smart. Everything seemed as calm as it could be and we were all under the impression that perhaps On-jo's phone call would get emergency services over to the school quickly. Now all we could do was wait.
