"Sanctuary"
We'd only just entered Morioh and I was already in love. The air was warm, without the sticky humidity that England's heat comes with. This place seemed very close knit, the adults just pottered about doing whatever, waving at every other person to walk past them, and the kids were playing actually peacefully with each other, none of the "you cheated during street footie" fist fights that would break out back home.
Pulling up to quite possibly the largest house in all of Morioh, my chauffeur honked the horn twice and just a moment after, emerged a man wearing a comfy looking white outfit, with baggy yet tailored trousers and a loose fitting crop top, his green hair jelled into a spiky style behind a blue headband.
He came over to the car with a slightly awkward but well meaning air about him and opened the car door for me as the chauffeur unpacked my belongings and left them on the porch.
"Hi (Y/N), guess you came prepared, huh?" He said as he nodded towards the ever growing pile of bags on his porch. "Oh umm, it's mainly just CDs that I st- bought back in England."
Attempting to laugh off my slip up, I got out of the car, sweating under Rohan's stern glare. Suddenly he let out a slight chuckle "I don't care how you got them, just don't play them too loud while I'm working."
I thanked the chauffeur as Rohan led me into the house, pushing me through the doorway as I attempted to grab some of my bags. "Don't worry about those just yet!"
"I gotta show you about first, and also where your room is." And with that he led me about his magazine worthy house; the perfectly themed and cleaned living room, the organised kitchen, both the bathrooms, his office, his room, and just beside it, my room.
"Now I haven't put much in here for you because I had a bit of a feeling you'd want to decorate it for yourself, which is fine by me but don't do anything that'll take the paint off the walls." As he rambled on about the features of my room I scanned around for myself. The damned place was bigger than the living room in my old home! In the middle of the room was a double bed piled high with cushions, to the left was a pretty big window with a ledge wide enough to lay down on. on both sides of the bed were drawers, a lamp on top of one and an empty trinket tray on the other. A large double sided wardrobe was built into the wall in front of the bed, with a full length mirror sat next to it. Lastly, there was a large, rustic vanity mirror to the right of the bed, along with an equally large and rustic looking dressing table and stool to match.
Noticing me staring at the vanity set, Rohan stopped his own ramble short "You'll have to forgive me about the vanity set, It was such short notice for you coming to stay that I couldn't find a new set in time, so for now you're stuck with this old lump of wood I had to drag down from the attic." he finished off his comment with a slight eye roll towards the furniture.
"No no, I like old stuff, I think it has more personality!"
Rohan replied with a surprised hum "Well that works for me. How about we get your bags then?"

I put all my clothes in the wardrobe, having more space left than I knew what to do with, I didn't even touch the drawers.
The vanity set was a whole other problem; the very little makeup I had, consisting of a few greasy plum-toned lipsticks and a kohl liner, plus the addition of my hairbrush and comb took up such a small amount of space that it actually made me feel guilty for putting them there, so I filled up the remaining space by stacking my CDs up on the edges, along with my battered CD player, which actually wound up framing the mirror pretty nicely.
I thought to myself that I could look for a part time job tomorrow so I could buy myself some more makeup and clothes, maybe even some trinkets, but for the time being I was sat out on Rohan's porch drinking tea as the two of us actually got to know each other.
"Maeda said you were an artist, what kind of stuff do you create?"
"I'm a mangaka."
"What's that?"
"I Illustrate and write stories, it's kinda like your comics only you read it from right to left."
"Oh that's cool! Can I read some of your stuff at some point?"
"No, I don't want you getting your grubby hands all over my precious work. Of course you can! It'd be weird otherwise!"
The two of us laughed a bit together, settling into a slightly awkward silence, before Rohan broke the silence again.
"So you were escorted by the SpeedWagon foundation, does that mean you have..."
He stared at me in a conflicting way, unsure if he was allowed to even ask.
In response I got my stand out, glancing at her and then to Rohan to answer his question.
"Ah. Wait how come you didn't call your stand out?"
"What do you mean?"
"Like call it out? You say it's name, to bring it out, like this, HEAVEN'S DOOR!"
Summoning a small white man, the stand waved at me before disappearing back into him.
"I didn't know it was meant to have a name..."
"...Well you don't need to rush it, take some time to find a name for her, it'll come to you eventually."
With a small smile on his face, Rohan stood up and took my cup from my hands, leaving me with a reassuring pat on the shoulder before went back inside.
I had a lot to think about now that I was here, and I didn't know what to start with.
