In the end I am just another tragedy

You get thrown out of your daze, by Crowley who looks at the shattered mirror. 
"Do you know what you just did?" If it as supposed to be common knowledge in this world than no. You shattered a magic mirror, there were probably a million of those in such a magical realm. 

"No, no I do not." You mumble under your breath. Crowley cries about how the mirror is worth about a 100 billion madol. 
"You have to pay-" the crow man tries to say till he notices the glass shards. 
They turned to ink. 

No, not ink blot.

You look at the shards touching them. Immediately the blot gets sucked into your hand. "What the fuck? Did I turn into a vacuum cleaner?" You mutter. 
"What the seven? Child what are you doing?" Crowley stutters out, pointing at the now gone shards.

"I don't know!?! This just happened?" You say, not knowing weather or not this is real.
 Crowley stares at you in disbelief before sighing. "All right ...... child." You stare at the man, lifting an eyebrow. Did he just forget your name? 
"Since I am so generous, I will let you stay, after all we have something that can be considered an 8th dorm." Crowley  mumbles.

"Follow me child." He said, making a waving motion towards the exit. You turn towards the crow man. "I am (name), not child." You say mockingly.
"The building has alot of charme, you might thank the former house warden for most repairs."

You had seen some before and after pictures Yuu had taken of the dorm. They truly knew how to re decorate things.
"Whish they had as much creativity into the things they did for me." You quietly grumble.  As much as you tried to find good things in Yuu, only bad memories you had sweeped under the carpet came popping up. 

It was as if you just know realised how one sided the friendship was. Like on the project Yuu and you had to do in art, they refused to help you on your part (you had no idea what to do and asked Yuu for ideas) and didn't gave you a single credit, while they had no problems helping other groups, or redesign a whole dorm.

Friendship am I right?

"Also, you have a dorm mate." Crowley coughs out. You remember that Yuu mentioned something of a fire cat.
You now stand infront of the dorm, while Crowley hands you the ?keys? To the dorm? 
"Tomorrow you shall start school like the other students, as you do seem to have magic." Crowley adds, before leaving you alone.

"Alright, by bird brain!" You mutter under your breath before entering the dorm.
You close the door behind you, looking at an actually functioning clock. "Guess it's almost midnight." You look around, as you suddenly hear something behind you.
A screeching voice asking about....
"Yuu?"
You look at the cat thingy. 
"No, sorry not Yuu. (Name)." You blandly say, not knowing what to think about this... cat?

You right now were lucky you had believed Yuu all the weird stuff he tried to mention to you.
The cat looks at you with big sad eyes, as if you saying: "I am Yuu." Would have been it's last grasp of hope. 

"I am sorry, Enma-" the sentence gets stuck in your throat. You had almost said. "I am sorry Enma also abandoned you." Till you remembered that this weasel/cat, almost burned down the whole school. Maybe it wouldn't be good to add to it's problems.
"You know them?" The weasel looks at you, its eyes full of worry. "Yeah- I guess you can say that." You look to the side, cause the cat is eyeing you like you are some psycho murderer.

"Where are they?" Grim asks. You shrug. "I don't know?" Well in theory you did know where Yuu was.

At home drinking hot chocolate.

"Why are you here instead of them?" The tenuki goes into some kind of fighting stance. "Don't ask me, ask that bish of a mirror!" You grumble out, putting your hands up in a defensive motion.

The cat growled. "You are lying human! My henchman should have been back by know! But you are here! What did you do to Yuu!"
"First of all, ouch. Second, I have no control over how this stuff workes, don't take your anger out on me, but on the stuff in this world!"

Internally, you sigh. You could kinda understand the little cat. Losing a friend, worrying about them, can make you loose trust in anything trying to replace them, or out of place.

This cat reminded you of yourself, after Yuu was reported missing. It didn't matter that you had a fight with Yuu, what the fight was about, what lead up to this point.
The only thing you were, was worried. You had thought Yuu was dead, killed brutally, buried somewhere in a garden.
You look at the cat. "Calm down okay? I am not here to replace Yuu, neither have I done anything to them. I just want that bird brain to get me back home. Nothing more nothing less." 

The cat looks at you, muttering something. You breathe out. 

Why did you feel like you just avoided a minefield?
