Just a little bit of background info about the au...
Seek and Figure are in charge of the hotel. Figure is the natural tallest, but Seek uses his abilities to grow and shrink as he pleases (his regular height is 6'7, while figure is 7'). Seek has many powers, including his size, unnatural speed, eyes, portal capability and strength, while Figure has supernatural hearing to make-up for his blindness, as well as his superb speed and strength. Both Seek and Figure are British, with accents, as that is where the story takes place. Figure's accent is exceptionally hard British, while Seek's is softer. None of the other entities have an accent of any kind
Heavily inspired by Youtuber Melly Vuong's two videos, MONSTERS, and LOSING MY MIND.

On to the story!
Kiwi didn't know what made her download Tiktok. Maybe it was because her friends were endlessly badgering her to download it, or maybe she just gave in to temptation. Whatever the cause, it was there she saw that fateful video, the video about a haunted hotel. The Doors Hotel. She had decided to go that night. Kiwi didn't tell a soul where she was headed, nor did she think to pack food, as, at the time, she didn't think she would be there for more than a few hours at most. She was woefully wrong. She arrived at midnight, and as she turned on her phone flashlight, the door snapped shut behind her. With no choice but to continue, Kiwi trudged forwards. As she walked, she began to notice distinctly peculiar things. The periodic flicker of the lights followed by echoing rushes of wind, the whispers and murmurs from boarded up doors, and the odd dark red stains that appeared every so often. A shudder wrought down Kiwi's spine as she heard a voice whisper behind her. "Psst..." Kiwi whirled around. The black tentacled creature screeched in her face, apparently at the top of its raspy high-pitched voice. It evaporated into thin air as she turned hurriedly to face it. As she continued, a faint purple light gleamed from beneath the crack of door 27. She couldn't bring herself to look at the creature in the room directly, so she pulled out her phone and snapped a picture. No less than 38 eyes glared at her from the screen of her phone in the next room. The irises were dilated and stalk thin, like a lizards. Door 29 had demonic black eyes inside it. Kiwi figured it was the aftermath of the many-eyed creature. How wrong she was. Door 30 was an elongated hallway with high archways caressing floor-to-ceiling window frames, allowing an eerie grey light to seep in. Kiwi carefully stalked down the hall. When she reached the end, hand stretched to the door handle, A low gurgling noise emanated from somewhere in the vicinity behind her. "What the actual fudge..." she whispered, wide eyed. A being with a singular wide eye and skin black as tar formed at the far end of the hall. Fixing its eye upon Kiwi, it began to sprint towards her. Kiwi mirrored its actions, booking it down the next few hallways. A tune played in her head as a harsh voice sang roughly into her ear. "Ready or not, here I come, you can't hide but you can run. No escape, all alone, You will die, ain't that fun? I can see, I can watch. Towards death, you will march! The condemned, they're calling: "Give up, you won't feel a thing!"No need to duplicate, all that's left is the chase." Fallen bookshelves lined the walls of the long hallways Kiwi darted along. Dodge, duck, sidestep, crouch, open. "Some can screech, and some can rush, you'll be caught in an ambush. You are trapped, figured that out? No escape, you will halt! Eyes will watch it go downhill, I guess we got the KILL!" As Kiwi burst into a new set of circular rooms, a new voice sang into her ear, this time a smooth, gentle, soft and female voice. "Don't listen, he can try, but you'll focus, do not cry. I will guide, I will fight, to make sure, you're alright!" A opaque blue light shone from doors surrounding the walls. Left, left, right, straight, right, left, right, right, straight, straight. Yet when Kiwi thought surely there couldn't possibly be any more doors, a second ornate arched hallway loomed into view as she burst through another door. "In the darkest of times, I'll be there, you'll be fine. I'm just a Guiding Light, and protect you I might! See you next time, Kiwi Twigs..." Kiwi wheeled around and slammed the door in the monster's face, all the while sticking out her tongue. The monster looked appalled and shocked. "What in bloody hell was that-" she protested. "He is the one you may call Seek. He will chase you down with his extraordinary speed. He was the one singing the first half of that song into your ears, Kiwi. You must be more careful from now on." "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Uhm... this door is different." A golden plaque with the number 50 sat hanging on an ornately carved dark oak door surrounded by bookshelves. "This looks dangerous..." Kiwi muttered. "I'm going in."
