You woke up laying on the ground. "Ugh... my head" You held your head in pain as you sat up, looking around you sweat and panic starts to sink in, Where are you exactly? It seems you're in some type of woods, there were trees everywhere... You cant wrap your head around it, in fact you dont remember anything about how you got here. You slowly start to stand up, your head still spinning as if you were on a carousel.
You stood like that for a few minutes till the 'carousel' stopped, you were about to step forward in search of a way out until you heard a thud to your left.
"Wowee! that sure hurt" someone groaned You took this as an opportunity to get away from these trees. "Hello?" You yelled The voice answered confused "Who?" You were confused as well but you spoke back "You of course!" "OH ME!" they yelled You heard rustling infront of you, you look down as the bushes shook aggressively, you stepped back and then popped out... *A dog?* *A blue dog?*
"Oh hello!" The blue dog said excitedly, you stood there confused but brushed it off as some weird dream, you had to be dreaming you reassured yourself you just had to be, No way is this dog talking right now.
"Eh hi?" You said trying to play it off. "Whatcha doing?" The blue dog questioned playfully looking up at you "Um I'm not sure" you answered truthfully, The blue dog then happily stood up from the bushes showing you his height *This dog is TALL like REALLY TALL* you thought to yourself "Well I am sorta lost at the moment" you said, The big blue dog raised a brow "Lost?" He said, "Pshh you're not 'lost' silly!" He said in a joking manner "What do you mean?" You question "You must be our new neighbor!" "Theres an empty house down the street with your name on it" He stated joyfully "Huh?" "A house with my name on it?" You questioned him "Uh huh yup it matches you, come on I'll show ya" He grabs your hand and practically drags you out of the strange forest.
You tried to break free from his grip but it was no use he was too strong... and a little too fast, you were tripping on everything. "Ah, here we are!" He finally let you go, You looked at the house in front of you, he was right it did match you quite a bit, The walls and roof were your F/C and the door matched your outfit.
"Oh I almost forgot!" He exclaimed "The names Barnaby, Barnaby B. Beagle" he said "Well its nice to meet you Barnaby!" You raised your hand to him, he gently grabbed it and shook it excitedly "I'm Y/N" you said "Well it sure is nice to meet ya Y/N!"
"Say I've got a question" you said "Go ahead shoot it" he said as he let go of your hand, "What were you doing earlier, you seemed to be in pain?" You asked "Oh that..." he said quietly as he started to fidget with his thumbs "I was uh...um" "You were what?" You repeated Barnaby started to rock back and forth on his heels "dont tell anyone this okay?" He whispered "I won't?" you said suspiciously He crouched to your level and spoke quietly. "Ya see I might've fallen off my ball" He said embarrassed He continues "I'm still practicing my balancing but if anyone finds out they'll laugh at me ya see?" You tried not to laugh as you replied "I won't tell anyone" "You promise?" He whispered as he held out his pinky "I promise" you whispered back You connected your pinky with his and he smiled
He stood back up and looked around to see if anyone heard what happened "Okie dokie" he said relieved.
"I'd say its time to show you around the neighborhood!" He said as he bounced in place "I suppose so..." you said still a little uneasy due to the strange surroundings.
You and Barnaby walked along a path But something was off... You stopped in your tracks as Barnaby whipped his head around to you confused at the sudden halt.
You felt like someone was watching you...
