"Finally!!" Hinata shouted. "I've been waiting for summer break for so long!"

"I know, right?! I'm so excited!" Souda told him. "Yo, Kuzuryuu! We're still gonna go eat ice cream today, right?"

"D-don't shout it... but yeah, we are," The blonde boy said, embarassed.

"Awesome. I gotta go, soul bro. See ya!" He pat Hinata's shoulder and walked towards Kuzuryuu.

The brunet looked around and saw Komaeda leaving the building.

'Great, now I have all the time in the world to hang out with my favorite boy!'

He ran over to Komaeda and hugged him from behind. "Guess who,"

The pale boy looked behind himself. "Hinata-kun?"

"I said guess. But yeah. It's me." He let go of him.

"Hinata-kun?"

"Yeah?"

"Are we gonna go on dates and stuff during summer?"

"For sure. We could go to the park, or drink bubble tea, or eat ice cream, or go swim in a lake or go on a picnic,"

Komaeda smiled. "You have so many ideas! I didn't know you were so romantic,"

"Let's just say I've been thinking about this kinda stuff for a while. This is my last ever summer break, so I have to make it count. I want every day to be great! I wanna go surfing and camping!"

"Then I will do my best to help you achieve the summer of your dreams!" Komaeda promised.

"Great. I already made a list of the things I wanna do. It's gonna start tomorrow. Thing is, my parents have always pushed me to get super good grades and my dad got in contact with people that work at a super fancy university and like... right after I graduate, I'll go study there,"

"Really? Right after graduation?"

"Yeah..."

"I'll miss you. But I'm gonna visit you for sure! We won't just stop hanging out, I promise!"

"Thanks,"

"Are you gonna live in a dorm there?"

"I don't know yet. I can decide whether or not I want to,"

"Alright. And promise you won't do drugs at parties,"

Hinata laughed. "Of course I won't,"

"Good. And if you ever-"

The brunet pulled Komaeda into a hug. "You don't have to worry so much. We'll work this out together, yeah?"

"...yes. You're right." Komaeda smiled.

Hinata woke up in the morning and left his room. He knocked on his brother's door. "Izuru! Time to wake up!"

"Mm..."

"Izuru!"

"Ngh... leave... alone..."

"You told me to wake you up!" The brunet opened the door to find his brother laying in bed like a dead pharaoh. He laughed loudly. "Why do you lay like that?!"

Kamukura sat up straight. "It is comfortable,"

"Whatever helps you sleep at night. Anyway, we're going to the beach today, right? So get up already!"

The dark-haired boy nodded and got up. "Nami said she will come too,"

"Great. I'll ask Mae real quick." He got out his phone to text him.

Just a few hours later, the brothers and their friends arrived at the beach. Nanami quickly took off her shirt and skirt since she wore her swimsuit underneath. Kamukura did the same.

Hinata and Komaeda decided to go to the small changing room that was on the beach. They looked inside to see if it was empty and then changed their clothes. Komaeda wore a T-Shirt over his swim binder in order to hide it.

"Stop splashing me!" Nanami giggled.

"You started it!" Kamukura laughed.

Hinata ran towards the water and Komaeda followed him.

A few hours later, the four friends were inside the bus again. Komaeda had fallen asleep and was leaning on Hinata's shoulder. He had put a towel on top of his head.

The brunet smiled and kissed his forehead.

"Mm... love you... Nata...kun..."

Hinata grinned and pulled him into a tight hug. "Aaah?!" Komaeda yelped as he woke up. "Why are we cuddling??"

"I love you too," Hinata whispered into his ear.

Komaeda turned bright pink. "Love... haha... you love me..." He muttered.

"Of course I do. You're my boyfriend, right?"

"You're right! I am!"

Hinata laughed. "You're so cute,"

Soon enough, the bus arrived at their stop and they got out. Hinata was a bit nervous when he reached out to grab Komaeda's hand. The conversation they had during the drive made him want to make their relationship a bit more public.
