Asahi arrived at his new classroom and proceeded on in. The classroom was filled up mostly, a few chairs and desks here and there still empty as there were other students that hadn't arrived yet.
Though, upon walking in, some of the students had noticed him. Of course, his looks were eye candy to some of the females that were staring at him, some even holding small blushes here and there. The boys on the other hand, the ones that would be considered on the lower end of the social ladder, glared and sneered at him. They were the type of boys that obviously disliked those that were basically better looking than them.
However, Asahi didn't bat an eye at them. He found that they weren't worth his time. But there were a few interesting figures in the classroom. For one, there were the two students that were causing the commotion on the bus. That girl with beige-colored hair and gradient crimson eyes was trying to get the boy with shoulder-length blonde hair with brown eyes to give up his seat for an elderly woman. But the blonde was persistent about keeping his seat, exuding quite the egotistical personality. However, Asahi had taken one small glance at him and couldn't help but feel that he felt a bit of familiarity from him. Anyway, the last person that caught his attention was the boy with dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, and average height. He looked to be normal, but he could tell he had the redeeming quality of being a leader. Though, as most people out there, he could tell that the blonde boy was hiding something.
Soon, his maroon red eyes fall onto an empty seat next to a particular girl, where he couldn't help but feel his lips twitch upward into a smile. That same girl with black hair and gradient red eyes he had met this morning. She was currently busy reading a book, looking like she didn't particularly care that he had just walked into the room.
Walking up to the desk next to hers and placing his bag at the bottom, he pulled the chair out and sat into it. Placing his elbow onto the desk, leaning his cheek against his fist, he faces her, putting on quite the smug smile. It was then she noticed him, gaining a scowl on her face as she frowned, staring out at him with the corner of her eye.
"Hey. It seems like we meet again," he greeted.
"Which is quite unfortunate," she said curtly. "To think you would be placed in the same class as me..."
He smiled 'innocently.' "Now, now, no need to act so rude. Since we're both going to be classmates from now on, shouldn't it be in our best interests that we introduce ourselves to each other?"
She sighed, shutting her book, emphasized by a loud slap to it, "I hope you don't mean to inquire that we be friends. Because if you ask me, having friends is something I do not require."
"Oh? That's the first time I've ever heard someone say that they don't need friends."
"Why? Is that such a bad thing?"
"Not at all. But, won't you be lonely if you didn't have anyone to socialize with? I am merely curious as to why you would reject the idea of having friends."
"Why would I need anyone to socialize with?" The girl briskly asked. "Haven't you considered the thought that I perhaps prefer to be alone? Perhaps it is more simple to say that being alone is what I like."
Asahi hummed. "Is that so? But wouldn't you consider us friends because of how much we've been talking?"
The girl's scowl grew even more. "You? And I? Friends? You must be joking."
"You're so cold," the maroon red-eyed boy laughed. "Then, allow me to introduce myself. Himuro Asahi. Feel free to call me whatever you like."
'Himuro?' The girl wondered, furrowing her brow as he had heard the name before. She didn't say anything after that before turning back to the front.
