The loud thumping of the basketball slamming onto the court was prevalent upon both the players and the bystanders watching the game. A majority of the third and second-years not participating in the game looked nervous, as well as the ones on the court, aside from Miyaji and Tejima, one holding an expression of disinterest while the other only held a grin.

Eyes solely on the red-haired teen as he had the ball again in his hands. The way he dribbled the ball was almost graceful, a rather orthodox method as he calmly did a walk to the middle of the court. However, he soon picked up his pace, doing a light jog before he swiveled his way around an oncoming second-year that went to stop him. A third-year goes to do the same job the failed second-year did, only for him to be intercepted by the Small Forward on Asahi's team, the first-year using himself as a screen. As he went past him, Asahi was soon met with Miyaji standing in front of him, his arms spread out in a defensive manner, an annoyed look on his face as he scoffed.

"You've gotten awfully confident after your initial score, first-year. Don't get ahead of yourself."

"Hmm, should you really be saying that?" Asahi shot back. "If you look at the scoreboard, it is our team that is currently winning."

"Only by a few points. I usually don't care about winning games, but..." Miyaji narrowed his eyes and looked a little bit angered. "It'll leave a bad taste in my mouth if I were to lose to a first-year. Especially if it's in a practice game."

Asahi merely grinned. "Is that so? Then, allow me to prove you right. After all... I am absolute. Move."

Miyaji grew ticked off, "Huh!? Don't get cheeky with me, first-year brat!"

The red-haired teen simply hummed in amusement and rushed forward, just as Miyaji did as well. However, just as Asahi did before, he crosses and dribbles the ball under his legs, then cuts it back over. Miyaji goes to turn slightly to shift his balance in order to stop him, only for his eyes to widen in surprise as he finds his legs failing him, causing him to fall backward onto his rear.

Jumping from the free throw line, it looked like Asahi was going for a dunk. For someone who's quite short, it seemed like he wouldn't even be able to make it, not even make quite the distance from the line itself to the basket. But from what he was told by his basketball team's manager in middle school, as well as someone he'd often go to in order to collect data when it came to championship games, his physical ability, technique, and his skills were basically perfect. If anyone were to watch the games of the Generation of Miracles, they would know how skilled and how his abilities would seem very inhuman. At least, for a normal person, anyway.

As already shown, Asahi is quite fast and very excellent at handling the ball, as well as being very strategic with his tactics and passes. But this is because the boy is quite the tactician, seeing the basketball game like it was a shogi game. Before moving a "piece" on the board, or making a move himself, he'll analyze the situation and think of which move is the best course of action to take. But of course, his most notable skill was his smooth passing skills. People often regard the red-eyed teen as the perfect, and ideal Point Guard.

To intercept Asahi's dunk, Tejima jumped up with great height. A normal person would be fearful of the captain's stature, with his large build and his jumps towering over others. However, Asahi looked unfazed, not even a hint of fear in his eyes. Not a single beat of fear coming from the corner of his depths. Instead of doing the dunking motion, he begins maneuvering the ball behind him, still keeping a good grip on it to show off his good handling skills. The way his hand was positioned is that he looked like he was going for a shot behind his back, but instead, with his other arm, he used his elbow, striking it powerful enough to make it shoot to the side and be passed into Sudou's hands. Once again, a majority in the court looked shocked, that pass of sorts looking like a circus spectacle. In such a quick reaction to Tejima's imposing nature, he simply responded by passing to Sudou in the most passive expression possible. People couldn't help wondering what was happening in the mind of Himuro.
