"You're really not going to give me your name after I gave mine? I'm hurt," Asahi said, feigning pain.
She sighed before giving him another glance. "...Horikita Suzune."
'Suzune Horikita, huh...' Asahi cracked another grin. "Then, it is nice to meet you, Horikita-san."
"The way you're grinning is quite creepy, Himuro-kun."
"Eehhh? You don't mince your words at all, Horikita-san."
With their back and forth bickering, they couldn't help but attract attention. Some minor whispers here and there were being heard in the background, some of the students amazed at the fact that the new red-haired boy was able to start up a conversation with Suzune. Those that tried had evidently failed because she had blatantly outright ignored them, so they were quite surprised with how they interacted. But they were soon interrupted by the sound of someone walking into the room, the clicking of their heels echoing throughout the hall and classroom.
A young woman with long brown hair, tied into a ponytail that went down her back, and brown eyes had walked in. Asahi surmised that this was their homeroom teacher, evident by the professional and nature of her clothing. Black blazer with a white polo underneath, a short black skirt with stockings that hugged her legs and her peerless black heels. Not only that, her stern expression spoke out to him that she must have valued one thing. Discipline.
She cleared her throat, "Ahem. Good morning to you, students. I'm the instructor for Class D. My name is Chabashira Sae. I usually teach Japanese history. However, at this school, we do not change classrooms for each grade. For the next three years, I will be acting as your homeroom teacher, so I hope to get to know all of you. It's a pleasure to meet you." Though her tone said otherwise. " I will now distribute written materials with information about this school's special rules. I will also hand out the admission guide."
The students sitting at the front were the first to receive the packets, turning around in their seats to hand off the stack to the next person. Handed off to the next and to the next, a packet finally reached Asahi, taking it gently and examining it closely. His maroon red eyes carefully scanned each word of the text, his eyes widening slightly in surprise of what they could do and what they couldn't. There were some of the basic things of student conduct and such, but there were some additional rules as well. This school was truly different from all the other ones he's attended.
As Asahi had stated to his butler before, this school was to be home from now on. All students were to be living in the dormitories that were on the campus. Another special rule was that students weren't allowed to have contact with people outside of school, even their parents. The only time this was allowed was either the school granted authorization or if there was a special case, such as studying abroad. To go along with this rule, leaving the school grounds was also forbidden unless you had permission. But to make up for this, the campus had come equipped with many different facilities that were able to be accessed by the students. This included a theatre, cáfe, a karaoke bar, boutique, and other essential facilities that would be included in a small city. In fact, the whole entire school ground was spread over six hundred thousand square meters.
But the unique rule and feature that caught Asahi's eye was the particular S-System.
Even before he could raise his hand to ask about it, it seemed like Chabashira was on the account of it. The Class D teacher had soon held up a stack of plastic ID cards.
"I will now hand out your student ID cards. By using your card, you can access any of the facilities on campus, purchase goods from the store, and so on. It acts like a credit card," she informed. "However, it is imperative that you pay attention to the points that you spend. At this school, you can use your points to buy anything. Anything located on the school premises is available for purchase."
