"No traitors. Someone from Bloodline pack has sent them since they have the traitor marks of our kingdom on their neck. At least it is a version of that very mark." Yoongi said further.

"Namjoon must've formed an alliance with another werewolf pack then." Taehyung gasped in realization. And the other two nodded along. That could be one possibility as well.

"We'll have to talk to Jungkook about it as soon as possible." The vampire also exclaimed as the other two looked wary about it.

"I don't think it is the right time to talk to him about it." Yoongi whispered when he looked at all the people gathering around the pack grounds. Not asking anything else, Taehyung just nods as he goes around and helps the people with their loved ones body. making sure everyone could perform the right rituals to ensure that the souls depart in peace, as the other warriors threw worried glances to Taehyung.

He knew what he had to do for them, but he was trying to put it out for as long as possible. How was he going to explain the situation to them without making their Head Alpha look like a villain? The red-head knew he had to say something, but he also knew it wasn't his words that they needed to hear.

So he simply gathered everyone and apologized on behalf of the still unconscious Jungkook.

"I'm extremely sorry about the head alpha's behaviour. I'm sure you all are aware of how Midnight has been in a slumber and was forced out today for the training. There is nothing to worry about now. he is resting right now and will come and explain once he has recovered. My condolenses to all those families who lost their brave warriors." That's all he said before he rushed to his mate's house.

He rushed in to see that Jungkook was finally sitting up and looking away, far from the world and widely into the window.

"Craving for your omega?" The question came out before he could stop his tongue. But the question only came because Jungkook was looking far and deep into the woods, his eyes searching for something beyond what they were seeing.

But Jungkook only shook his head and turned to look at Taehyung. His doe eyes showing no glint, but just a huge burden of sadness and a drop of guilt was seen in it. He didn't know what had went on because he was entirely shut out by the raging wolf; but that didn't mean he didn't have any idea of what could've gone wrong.

"Jungkook, no. it was not your fault." The vampire mate purred out as he carefully walked closer to Jungkook.

"It was. It was because of me that so many of them died out there. How am I supposed to be a good alpha if I cant even protect my own people from my wolf?" He asked, breaking out into sobs as Taehyung held him tightly .

"No Gukkie. It was because of Midnight and his childishness. None of this would've happened if he hadn't acted out that way earlier. He has to know his surroundings as well right? You couldn't prevent it." He said, meaning every word he had spoken out. But the other was not ready to hear anything.

Having no other choice, knowing Jungkook was not even listening to his words, he linked Yoongi to send Jimin. And when Jimin did come, one nod and Taehyung was out. Waiting for the other to come and tell him what their conversation was about and as a mate, how the vampire could help the Alpha.

Jimin came back outside after an hour, his face holding fatigue and nothing but fatigue. That was enough for Taehyung to know that even he couldn't talk to Jungkook about it. and the vampire saw no choice but to go and talk to Jungkook once again.
