Dani was struggling to do two things at once. Listen to Isabella complain and do her make up at the same time. They were supposed to leave for lunch fifteen minutes ago. Isabella had work up late and now had to do her hair and make up at the same time.
Isabella paused briefly. "Is Vinnie even ready? Oh my God." she said. "Please. please go check on Vinnie."
Dani couldn't help but make a shocked face. "Me? Why me?" she said. Isabella glared at her and she dropped the eye shadow brush.
She walked up to Vinnie's room. She knocked on the door but no answer so she went inside. She heard music from the bathroom, but the door was wide open. She walked forward to check if Vinnie was in there or if he left his shower running. She then stopped dead in her tracks. Vinnie was wearing nothing but a towel, again. And once again, Dani was left just staring at his incredibly toned, godly physique. This time however, he had his phone in his hands, and his hand was holding the towel up.
Daniella didn't need to stare long to know this was a thirst trap. Vinnie looked over at her, his face lit up before dropping again. The sound played for a couple seconds longer before shutting off and replaying in his hands over and over again. Dani watched Vinnie's muscles physically tense. Her mouth fell open trying to think about something to say. She wanted to laugh about this.
She cleared her throat, he was still looking at her, and she was still looking at his body. "Isa said to hurry up and get ready."
"Yeah, I'm getting ready now." He said. It surely didn't look like that.
Dani nodded, her eyes flew up and down his body again before she turned away. "Cool yeah." She said before leaving the room. When Vinnie heard his door shut he let out a groan and ran his hands through his wet hair.
“Fuck me, man.” He said, groaning as he brought his hands down to cover his face.
To say the lunch was awkward was a criminal understatement. Of course Dani and Vinnie knew it would be coming from the day Dani got to town. The bride, the groom, the maid of honor and the best man. Two of them were not speaking to each other out of embarrassment.
Isabella, however, thought that it was because of their highschool years. So she was trying her best to break the tension. "So. Is your food good, Dani?" Dani looked up from the table, or more accurately Vinnie's hands.
"Yeah. It's good." She said before forcing herself to take a bite. She looked away from the table.
Isabella then turned to Vinnie. "And you, Vinnie? How's your food?"
"Its a little dry if I'm being honest. I'm getting a little thirsty." Daniella coughed softly and pressed her hand against her lips. Vinnie groaned, he hadn't meant it that way. She was smiling softly under her fingers, but you couldn't see it.
Isabella looked at her suspiciously. She wanted to know what was going on. So she asked directly. "What the hell is going on?"
Dani raised her brows. "Nothing, why?" Isabella gave her a look, she didn't believe it. Of course not. "I guess I'm just not as thirsty as Vinnie is."
Now it was Vinnie's turn to choke on his drink. He turned to look at her with a glare, but she was smiling into her hand. She was teasing him. Vinnie turned to Isabella and Andrew. "We can't speak about it." Vinnie said to them.
"And why not?" Isabella asked them, crossing her arms.
Dani glanced over at Vinnie, and then back at her best friend,"It's classified Information." She said simply.
Isabella sighed and rolled her eyes. "I have to go to the restroom." She said before standing up. She looked down at Andrew until he got up and went with her.
