Most group of friends have trios, like two boys and one girl. So what if Wukong and Macaque had another friend.
Another that just wanted to break the chains from her responsibilities and just have fun.
Another that knew what about the fight between...

Landing on Macaque's projection, the group all managed to escape the crashing hovercraft. All thankful that the projection can float on it's back.
Jinhua was placed down on the chest as it gave more comfort to the demoness. Macaque kneeled beside her, his arms ready to catch her if she needed, "How are you feeling?"
Jinhua started to regulate her breathing as she felt her arms start to go numb, "Doing okay... Could be better..." If she were totally honest, she felt exhausted, her limbs felt like they were about to buckle from underneath her. She could feel slight buzzing tremors in the tips of her fingers.
Pigsy sat on the side, "Great! Now that we escaped the possessed puppet—!! Now we're stuck in the middle of the sea with no land in sight...!"
The parents and brothers of the 'possessed puppet' were not happy about the comment but kept quiet as they took the time to finally relax.
Sandy was sitting at the edge with a sullen face, "So it wasn't built for water adventure...." Tang and MK gave the gentle giant comforting pats.
Mei stood on the projection's knee and spotted movement in the water, "Uh... Guys...??" She gripped her sword, "Something tells me, we're not alone...!"
This enticed a variety of levels of panic to shoot through the group.
Wukong sat up straight from his spot, "Everybody relax..! Preeetty sure this is just an ol' friend of mine, come to help out!"
Macaque snorted, "Says every enemy encounter." Resulting in Wukong giving him the side eye.
A large beak snapped open, sending the projection to discombobulate a tad bite before reshooting back into place.
And out of the sea, rose some sort of sea beast ten times the size of Macaque's projection.
Wukong looked on with a slowly paling face, "Friend miiiight be stretching it...."
Next thing they knew, the projection was dragged down underneath the water and pushed through a pressurized air bubble.
Gravity it then hard as the entire group was sent crashing down.
Luckily Macaque used his projection's shadow strips to grab each member and safely put them down before disappearing into its owner's shadow. Right after it gave Jinhua a small toothy grin wave.
Jinhua dusted her robes off as she took in the scenery. A palace and grandeur of sea coral. The structures varied as they were built upon the spiking cones that grew on the sea canyons. The texture colors of blues and cyans really made the gold outlines of the palace pop as it showed who exactly lived here, "It seems we are in a dragon's lair... How unfortunate..." She glanced over at the one member of the group that could bring terrible misfortune upon them if he didn't choose his words wisely.
Macaque seemed to have the same thoughts as he was already stomping his way past two excited young demons, "Wukong....!" The simian seethed.
"Macaque.... Buddy...! What seems to be the problem?" Wukong blinked innocently.
