"Oh, I do apologize! I haven't even given you my name, dear. My name is Hwang Nari."

"And I'm Y/N L/N." I then remembered the customs here. "Or, in Korea, L/N Y/N."

She nodded in understanding and raised the glass she just got to her lips. Cups of our preferred beverage were also placed in front of me and In-Ho. I said a soft thank-you to our waiter and drank some of my own (drink choice).

"Does everybody know what they would like to order?"

(Time skip to the food being in the kitchen.)

"Tell me more about yourself, dear. What do you enjoy doing?" The kind lady asked me.

"Oh, well I enjoy working with In-Ho, contributing to the workplace in general, listening to music, (include more of your hobbies.)" I replied.

"Glad to know, dearest. My son here," she wiggled her finger at In-Ho, "is the same. He immerses himself in his work and is as dedicated as you seem to be. As for the music, I've only heard him listen to that one song by that... American songwriter... I think his name was Frank."

I laughed as In-Ho looked annoyed at his mom.

"Frank Sinatra; a classic. 'Fly Me To The Moon'. It seems as though that's the only song I hear nowadays," I joked.

His mom laughed along with me, and In-Ho smirked. My overall impression of his mother was positive because she had been nothing but nice to me since we were first introduced. She was a sweet woman that seemed the polar opposite of In-Ho most times. I could tell her felt love for his mom even though he kept his cold persona around her and acted a little bit agitated. He did that to everyone, so it did not come as a surprise.

I could see her laughter die down, and she gave a light sigh. It was not a sad or exhausted one, but more like she was content with her current situation. Her arms folded onto the table and she put some weight onto them.

"I might be being too forward or upfront, but you both most certainly act like a couple. I know my son, and you, dear, are certainly his type. Looks and personality wise," she winked at him, which caused me to cover my mouth for fear some snorts of laughter would come out. She then looked back to me. "You're telling me nothing has happened?"

I regained my composure and met her gaze.

"Nothing at all, ma'am."

She rolled her eyes playfully and scoffed before leaning back into the chair. I now saw some resemblance between the two.

"Fine, fine. But I'm placing my bets."

I couldn't keep a straight face and let out a few giggles. Even more so when I saw In-Ho's face was in his hands. I could only imagine having my mom embarrass me in this way.

...

After the night's events were complete and our stomachs were full, In-Ho and I said goodbye to his mother. She seemed very intent to have me over for another meal sometime soon, and I, looking for reassurance from In-Ho which he begrudgingly gave, agreed to her plans. We planned on walking down the street so she would not see the car picking us up. In-Ho didn't have to tell me that, for I knew already that her seeing what vehicle we arrived and departed in was going to draw some questions that probably didn't have appropriate answers.

Now, we were walking down the sidewalk, and I was going over everything that happened today in my mind. The creation of the game sets were going smoothly, In-Ho's mom actually liked me, I got out of the facility today and had a good time, etc. I didn't ask what In-Ho was thinking about because he may shut me out anyways. I'm sure he could sense the gears turning in my head. I was just staring ahead while making sure the man I was beside was still in my peripheral vision at all times. I was trying to relax and space out, but I didn't want to feel alone or maybe not notice he wasn't by me anymore; especially at night.

"We never talk about those specific things that were discussed at dinner, alright?" He asked, but he surprisingly didn't have a hostile tone. I looked at him curiously, and he was just watching me with his head ever so slightly turned my way.

"What things in particular?" I asked while suppressing the smile that wanted to appear on my face.

He shook his head and looked in front of him, making me do the same. We were in a comfortable silence until he got my attention and motioned to the familiar limo that was in close proximity to us. I nodded and he opened the door for me. I thanked him, and he got in after me. I sat on my usual comfortable seat and looked out of the window to just see a difference in perspective from 10 seconds prior. There weren't too many distinctions, so I looked back at In-Ho, who was already studying me. I furrowed my eyebrows and grinned.

"What are you looking at?" I wondered.

He looked at me for a few moments more.

"Just you."
