The Favorite- Front Man x Reader- Squid Game

    So guys, I just wanted to let yall know that of course I take your feedback into account when you guys give it to me. Many are asking me to keep Gi-Hun in the story, but I just want you guys to know how that would go so you understand :)

      So firstly, Gi-Hun wouldn't be the winner of a previous game, merely a member of the group, because Y/N would be the one coming back to the games to stop them, giving me more to work with for the Front Man and Y/N's dynamic and generally making the story more interesting as opposed to him joining Gi-Hun and him just coincidentally liking Y/N and focusing on her instead. More of an enemies staying enemies but also being lovers dynamic (ig?) instead of a strangers to lovers. So, basically, Gi-Hun wouldn't reeeeally be Gi-Hun.

       Secondly, in the six leg pentathlon, you have five people. Jun-hee was the fifth. For Gi-Hun to still be in the group, Jun-hee would have to be excluded from this group, which I believed you guys wouldn't want because yall like her. In short, Jun-Hee and her little storyline and background wouldn't really be in the book much, if at all.

         Thirdly, this book's Gi-hun would be more season-one Gi-Hun if he was included because he never won, never found the Salesman, never had previously knowledge of the game, never wanted revenge, never played before, etc...yall know how it goes.

        I hope this clears up my reasons for why I was going to replace Gi-Hun with Y/N for the storyline. If you still want me to include Gi-Hun and feel that these reasons are still justifiable sacrifices to keep him in the book, lmk. If you change your mind, still, let me know.
