You sprinted right at him, irises swirling with pink haze. Katsuki could hear the sound of your footsteps, but with his vision impaired, the accuracy of his attacks was off. You were able to evade the brunt of his explosions, and while they still hurt, you could do it. You could get to him. All you had to do was touch him, and the match was over.

I'm so close!

You ducked off to the side, trying to rush him from behind before he could reposition himself. You pivoted on your heel and used your momentum to spring yourself up, only to be met with an explosion directly in the face. It stung, and you rocked backwards, but you noted that it wasn't as powerful as some of his earlier attacks. He was weakening-his forearms had just barely started to seize up from repeated use of his Quirk. You could feel yourself just about to fall back from the recoil of the blast, but at the last second, your hand caught onto the fabric of Katsuki's shirt. You pulled with all your might, dragging him down towards the ground with you.

"Shit-"

He stumbled in place and managed to catch himself, but with one hand still covering his eyes, he didn't have the means to fight you off. You knew he was just about to set off another explosion, so you dove head-first into his chest, wrapping your arms around his back. You felt weak, dizzy, and part of your limbs had started to go numb. But it didn't matter. You had him in your grip, and your Quirk was still going full throttle.

"Give up, Katsuki-kun," you mumbled, squeezing him with all your strength. "It's my win. Admit defeat."

Katsuki's right hand began to tremble, the very same hand that had been poised and ready to set off an explosion from point-blank range. You could see the way his cheeks were flooding with warmth, and the hand veiling the upper half of his expression fell to his side. He was gritting his teeth and keeping his eyes squeezed shut while his body trembled all over.

He was seriously trying to resist your Quirk. He wasn't attacking, but he wasn't surrendering as you'd told him to either. You puffed out your cheeks, increasingly frustrated, pressing your chest against him and trying to force him back towards the edge of the arena. His body was as rigid as a statue. He wasn't moving.

Seriously? My powers must be at their limit if he's still not giving up. Ugh, I really don't want to have to kiss someone in front of all these people again...!

You pressed your lips against his neck, mumbling your commands right by his ear. His skin was flushed red-hot. Come on, you were so close!

"F-Fucking pervert!" Katsuki spluttered, his arms forcing you back without warning. You fell to the ground, surprised by how much strength he still had left even after being directly exposed to your powers. The numbness was rapidly spreading throughout the rest of your body now. This was probably it. You'd used them so much during the day, even going so far as to channel Aphrodite's powers, and now you could barely move. Even Katsuki, who shouldn't have had any immunity, was still managing to resist your Quirk.

"Ugh, I can't move." You were on your back, white spots fading in and out of your vision as you stared up at the sky. Katsuki's entire face was on fire, and he was breathing raggedly, desperately trying to avoid succumbing to your Quirk. He'd covered his eyes again. Well, his willpower was no joke, that was for sure.

"[Name]," Midnight called out, "can you continue?"

Your eyelashes fluttered to a close. "Doubt it. My body's barely responding to me anymore. Katsuki-kun, have you reconsidered surrendering?"

"L-Like hell I would," he rasped. "Shit-f-fuck that. There's no way I'm surrendering, and neither are you. Stand back up and fight me."

"Well, that's that," you breathed. "Damn it. I thought I really had a chance here. I thought my Quirk might be able to win it all. Guess that's what I get... for being overconfident." You exhaled weakly. Before, you'd been running on pure adrenaline, and you hadn't realized just how many of those explosions you'd taken from close proximity. Your skin was burning all over. You'd seriously never been more tired in your life.
