A Turn In Time Saves Nine - (Harry Potter Next Gen Time Travel Fanfic)

As everyone got ready for bed, Dumbledore was discussing what was to be done with teddy. "Well sir, we did not pick up the broken pieces of the time Turner, i expect it is still lying there on the ground, in our time" said Teddy.

"Don't worry Mr. Lupin, i assure you I will make some or the other arrangements for you to back to your time, you and your siblings must rest now, you must be really tired" said Dumbledore. There were a murmurs of yesses. Sirius showed them to their room. Before they could depart to their respective rooms, teddy stopped them all. "What's wrong'?" Asked Lily. "Look, don't give them more info about their future, we have told them alot as it is, if we tell them more, chances are that the timeline could be changed completely..." Said Teddy cautiously.

Everyone just stared dumbly, before erupting in choruses of okays. Teddy shook his head, esparated. He knew none of them took him seriously. He entered his room and saw his beautiful wife singing a Lullaby to his daughter. He smiled.

He wants and sat by Cel's bed. "Is she asleep?" He asked softly. Victoire made her way towards him. "Yes" she said. Teddy hugged Vic and kissed her head. "It felt really good seeing my parents" he whispered. "I bet it did" she whispered back.

"I wish I could stay with them forever"  he said longingly. "I know" Said Vic.

She felt that this time travelling they had done was a blessing in disguise. Teddy got to see his parents because of this time travelling. She really wished this would stay as it was forever.

Alas, destiny plays cruel games...

While Lily, Roxy and Dom has bunked with Hermione and Ginny. "Well. This is awkward" Dom said dryly. "Oh well I am sorry! It's not everyday that some random people spawn in your house and claim that they are your kids!" Ginny exclaimed. "We really are your kids..." Lily began.

"I know Lily, but it just feels so surreal, even now" Hermione said. Lily smiled. Even in the future, Hermione was the one who Lily preferred to go to for anything and everything. She simply favoured her more than the rest, well... Probably not more than her dad because Lily was a complete daddy's girl.

"Am I a good mom?" Ginny slowly asked. If Lily were being completely honest, she would have said that both her parents preferred Al more than her and James, but instead she replied with an enthusiastic nod. "You're the best!" Lily exclaimed.

Hermione stayed quite during this interaction.  "Do you know me? I mean, I assume that Harry and Ginny must have introduced me at some point..." Hermione trailed off. Dom looked at her as if she had grown two heads. "Of course we know you, you are our Aunt Hermione!" She replied, but then quickly realised what she said and put her hands over her mouth in shock. "What she means that..." Roxy quickly said. "We have grown accustomed to calling you Aunt Hermione instead of your actual formal title..."

"Ohh?!" Hermione said, seeming pleasantly surprised. Roxy glared at Dom while Dom bit her lip, mentally scolding herself for slipping up. They were going to have to be more careful...
