A Turn In Time Saves Nine - (Harry Potter Next Gen Time Travel Fanfic)

The Ministry ball was going rather smoothly. Hermione made her way down the stairs, hands interlocked with her husband, Ronald. She gracefully walked towards Harry and his wife, Ginny. "These high Heels are killing me!" Ginny whisper-yelled. Hermione gave a weak smile to her sister-in-law.

And the next hour passed, as hermione and ron were dancing on the dance floor. He spun her as she giggled like a teenage girl. from the corner of her eye, she could see Harry and Ginny talking to Draco and Astoria Malfoy.

Hermione was really glad they made amends and got over their childish banter. Now, they are really close friends with the malfoys family. Ron abruptly stopped dancing, causing Hermione to step on his foot. "Ow, you stepped on my foot!" Ron said. "How times have changed" Hermione dryly replied. The couple saw that many others stopped dancing as well and gathered around something... Or someone?

What Hermione did not expect was to see her daughters tear-stricken face as she cried, while Scorpius tried his best to comfort her. "I did nothing!" she sobbed. "I only pulled Hugo out! If I was quicker I...I-I-I could have saved them I-" she stuttered before being pulled into a hug by scorpius.

Hermione could see Hugo standing next to the duo. "Hugo what happened?" asked Hermione, her expression of concern. Hugo refused to meet her eyes. "Hugo what happened?" Hermione repeated, a bit more sternly. "Its the others" he said, choking on a sob. "Their gone!"

All the adults including Draco and Astoria Immediately left the ball and returned home. They realized what Hugo was saying was indeed true - They were gone.
