In another lifetime, he could've had a better family.
In another lifetime, he could've had more support toward his dreams.
In another lifetime, he could've had time to be a child.
The storyline he is following right now gave him the worst startin...
Sunlight greeted him like an old friend. A world beyond dreams, one where cameras didn't stalk him as commitment — and a part of him missed it. The rowdy teenagers chase each other even amidst the heavy-bearing exams. A few bumped into him, not glancing at his stumble and going on their way. But he didn't call them out because this was an escape for him too, to blend in the crowd for at least a few minutes.
Stardom, or the chase to its steps, never sets boxes. Freedom is limited with the lack of lines because instead of space allowing mortality to invade, it welcomes robotic mechanisms to rule over people. And it doesn't surprise him that at the brink of success in shadowing non-idols, he still gets spotted at the last minute. "Isn't that June from Boys Planet?"
The good news is, even if the island of entertainment can look so secluded, there are many inhabitants with him. At these moments, he is okay with the fact that his dream is not as rare as he wishes. Others who will brave through the tides to get him in the lifeboat. Right now, that lifeboat is in the form of a vehicle kept afloat by four familiar faces. Souls that granted him passage to the underworld Elysium of the K-entertainment industry — his manager Kai, Kim Ji Woong, Yoon Jong Woo and to his surprise, his CEO/SKZ member Leon.
Maybe stepping outside of his dream once in a while won't drag him deep in ocean floors if he keeps the right company in and out of the star business.
