He's been going at it for at least half an hour. As you can clearly appreciate, Cloud doesn't like Alpha Peterson. He thinks he's after me. I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose.

"Cloud, he was being friendly. Wouldn't you want to be on the White Wolf's good side?" I say and he looks at me.

"Oh and don't get me started there. He probably wants you for being the future Werewolf Queen! Ugh, lousy bastard has no shame. A man like that should never have a mate," Cloud sneers.

I gasp. "That's not a very nice thing to say, Cloud. Would like to be mateless forever? What if his mate died?"

"Look, Hannah-"

There's a knock on the door. "Come in," I say and the door opens to reveal a girl about my age. She's wearing a maid uniform.

"Your Majesty, dinner is served," she says and bows slightly. "Alpha Peterson has sent me here to tend to any needs you may have. Both you and your mate, Alpha Hall," she says gently. My eyes are wide and Cloud's gritting his teeth.

"Well, you can tell Alpha Peterson that he can shove my foot up his-"

"We'll be there shortly, thank you. And you can tell Alpha Peterson that we're both fine," I say, interrupting Cloud. The girl nods and bows and closes the door. I turn around. "What is your problem?! First Paris, now here?! Cloud, you need to get your mind straight and calm down. He's not going to take me from you, stop being so paranoid," I say. He stands up and stalks towards me. His eyes are black.

I take a step back and he takes two towards me. We keep this game until my back is against the wall and his arms are on either side of my head, keeping me caged to his body. I can feel the warmth of his body and smell his unique scent, making my mouth water. "Do you really want to know what's my problem?"

I nod.

"My problem is that I haven't marked you. Your father forbid me to do so, and I listen to him and follow his wish because I have a soft spot for your dad and I respect him. But with all these other Alpha males around you, keeping my wolf in check is getting harder as the bond becomes stronger. My need to make you mine grows, Hannah. And I am losing my patience," he whispers and places gentle kisses down my throat. When he meets the junction of my neck and shoulder, he takes the skin between his teeth and he sucks, making me gasp. My hands tangle in his blond locks and a moan escapes my lips.

"Ah, we need to - ah! Be at dinner soon," I remind him. He looks at me and grins.

"My main course is right here," he says and cups my butt. I squeal as he lifts me up. I wrap my legs around him and he takes me back to the bed. He lies me down and crawls on top of me. "It's getting rather difficult to ignore my instincts," he pants and captures my lips in a searing kiss. He bites my lower lip and I part my lips, letting his tongue explore the contours of my mouth. I moan and my hands wrap around his neck, trying to bring him as close as possible. His hands grope my butt and he grinds his center to mine.

I gasp, feeling him...there.

I moan loudly, and he chuckles. "Tonight, I'm not stopping, Hannah," he whispers. "Tonight, I will make you mine," he says and goes back to my neck.

My body feels like it's on fire. Every nerve reacting to his touch. I have never wanted a man to touch me as much as I want Cloud to, right now.

"You scent...it's changing," he mutters. My body heats up as he suckles my skin.

I moan and tighten my legs around him. Our centers brush and he groans. "Fuck, Hannah..."

He grinds into me again and I call out his name. He growls and continues to suck on my neck.

I'm so lost. I'm so dazed. All I can think of is him, and how bad I want him right now.

Cloud seems to be thinking the same thing, because in just a few seconds, he's already shredded right through my clothes, leaving me in my underwear.

I sit up and tug at his shirt and he takes it off. He lies me back down and kisses me.

"Looks like we're skipping dinner tonight," he says.

"Looks like we are."
