The Wolfwalker Guardian PART II

Ted's POV

I woke up and stretched myself and walked to my mirror...and remembered I was still a wolf. I heard my mom coming and I got nervous, I can't let her see me like this again!! I wanted to hide but then saw my sleeping body.

"Right! Uhh...how do I do this?" I said whispering desperately as I was hearing she was getting closer, but suddenly when I touched my hand with my paw, it started to glow and I gasped as I remembered how Lily went back to her human body when I first met her. I kept touching my hand until my whole body started to glow. When Mom was about to open the door, I jumped, becoming a spirit and got inside my body and immediately woke up as myself.

"Ted! Honey! You are awake" Mom said and hugged me.

"Uh yeah! Umm...why so excited and relieved?" I asked her even know I definitely know why.

"Ted, last night there was a wolf in your room! I was so afraid if that thing would have hurt you. Every one in town saw it and they say there was a second wolf too. Goodness, two wolves last night, running around the town...but thank goodness you are ok." Mom said.

"Wow! What a night! Anyway, I'll get breakfast" I said and quickly got up and went downstairs were Granny was there too.

"Those wolves came from the forest right?" Granny whispered to me.

"I uh....yes" I said.

"Maybe they were just playing around....or they were trying to find their leader" she said....seriously, I don't know how she knows a lot of things but I do know she knows of Wolfwalkers so that's probably the point. But I still can't tell her that wolf was me.

"Why you didn't wake up when that wolf was in your room? If I was you, I would immediately wake up!" Granny said raising an eyebrow at me.

"Well I was very tired and I guess I was already dreaming" I lied but she looked at me suspiciously and kept eating her breakfast.

After I finished my cereal, I got dressed and ride to the alley, Audrey couldn't come since she wanted to continue her painting, to refresh her mind after last night. Still, I don't know how I am going to tell Lily that her parents are captured, because when I will tell her that, she will get mad and send the wolves to attack the town! As I was getting close to the alley, two giant bodyguards stopped my ways. Oooh, I'm in trouble!

Suddenly Mr. O'Hare walked out from between the large men.

"Hello! You must be Ted, Ted Wiggins right? he said and didn't let me respond.

"So Ted, I make a living selling fresh air. And I see you and your friend have become interested in trees? And thanks to that! Two wolves came here. So here's the thing, I consider that as a threat to me and my business. Let me tell you a short story, I long time ago, an intelligent man like me made this town, he was becoming the richest man in the world, along side his model girlfriend, but what happened? Wolves killed them!! Because of trees!! So what I mean by this, is that don't go to places that are none of your business, if you do, the wolves will eat you!!" O'Hare said threatening me.

"Umm...yes sir" I said and he proceeded to get back to his big limousine. I was thinking of what he said about the old mayor, aka, Lily's dad, I know he faked his death to save the trees and be with Lily's Mom, but also that they don't want Lily to come here.....maybe I should not go there.....I know we made a promise to help her....but it's more important what their parents said....so I decided to go back home still feeling guilty.....I'm sorry Lily, but it's for your own good.

Narrator's POV

The day has passed and Ted was sad about Lily, meanwhile she was already in the big trunk sitting, waiting happily. Hours passed and nothing, actually, in Thneedville park there were prepared for what it looked like to be a big surprise for the people in town. Ted made a note where he tells why he couldn't go to the forest and she has to leave. He made a paper plane and blew it to the air. Back in the forest, Lily was bored, still waiting until she saw the paper plane. She caught it.

"What's this?" Lily asked her self and open the note.

"Lily, I'm sorry, we couldn't visit you, the wolves and the forest are in danger, you have to leave with the pack now. Sorry. Ted" Lily read.

"Leave? I can't leave! In fact, mommy and daddy haven't back yet. Ugh, I will go to the town" Lily said and she ran out of the forest. But the Lorax took the note and read it.

" He didn't want that.....Rose...Once.....Lily!" he said and run to follow her.
