We run across the large vines connecting all of the floating mountains. Spider leads the way with Lo'ak and I not far behind. Kiri is behind us with Tuk trailing in the back.
"Whoa! Bro!" Lo'ak exclaims and Spider jumps from one vine to another.
"Uh-uh," Spider says with pride.
"Yeah, Spider!" I yell.
"Go, Monkey Boy!" Kiri cheers him on.
"Guys, wait up!" Tuk shouts for us as we run at a rapid pace. Eventually we make it to the ground being able to move much quicker than before. As we sprint through the forest Tuk stops to admire a plant she saw, crouching down beside it.
"Tuk!" Lo'ak yells at her. "Keep up!"
    "Okay, okay," Tuk huffs.
"Bro, why'd you bring her anyway?" Spider asks.
"She's such a cry baby," Lo'ak complains and I roll my eyes at him. "She's all 'I'm telling. You're not supposed to go to the battlefield. I'll tell mom if you don't let me come.'" He says trying to mimic her voice. Tuk comes up beside me hugging my waist.
"Don't pick on her," Kiri said annoyed. I crouch down next to Tuk as she stuck her tongue out at Lo'ak.
"Don't let him get to you," I whisper to her but also loud enough so Lo'ak can hear. "He's definitely the cry baby. Not you." I glare over at Lo'ak as he rolls his eyes. We finally reach the battlefield and spot a gunship caught on some vines in the air. We start to climb some trees to get a closer look.
    "Come on," Lo'ak insists.
    "Oh, sick!" Spider exclaims.
"Are there any dead bodies up there?" Tuk asks us as we climb into the gunship. Lo'ak and i head inside while Spider observes through the windshield. We see two skeletons sitting in the seats, one of them with an arrow stuck through their ribs, and i gasp.
"Oh, sick!" Spider exclaims fascinated, while i throw him a weird look.
"Does it hurt when I do that?" Lo'ak jokingly asks the skeleton as he wiggles the arrow stuck in them. I slap his arm and he flinched back looking offended.
"Mature," I say sarcastically as I start to exit the ship and notice that Kiri is gone with only Tuk standing at the bottom.
"Guys, I think Kiri wondered off again!" I yell to the other two. We all make our way to the ground.
"I'll go find her," Spider volunteers a little too quickly. He sprints off leaving all of us at the gunship.
"We should probably go after them," Lo'ak says.
"Yeah probably," I respond and we start to head in their direction.
    "Hey, Reya?" Tuk asks me.
"I look down at her and respond, "What is it Tuk?"
"Can you carry me?" She asks with puppy eyes.
"Of course," I tell her as I pick her up and set her on my hip.
"Oh, come on!" Lo'ak groans. "That isn't even fair!" I giggle at his childishness.
"What? You want me to carry your grown ass too?" I tease. He's rolls his eyes at me.
"She has two legs," he pointed out. "She can walk."
"Yes, she can," I say. "But she doesn't have to. She asked and I agreed. Get over it you big baby," I joke with him. He laughs with me but we're interrupted by Tuk yelling for Kiri when she sees her. She wriggles in my arms wanting to be put down and I set her on the ground. She quickly runs over to Kiri and Spider.
"Kiri!" She yells. "We have to get back.
"All right. Come on," Spider says and helps Kiri up off the ground. We make our way through the forest heading back. We can't be out past eclipse now that the Sky People have returned. As we're running across a branch, Lo'ak sees something and jumps off. We jump off with him.
"What is it?" I ask curiously. Spider and I crouch down next to him.
"We're always supposed to be home by eclipse," Tuk warns. We examine the print on the ground and see a shoe print in the dirt. But it's too big to be a human print. It has to be an avatar. But our avatars never come out here.
"It's way to big for a human," Lo'ak points out.
    "Yeah, no shit," I snapped.
    "Avatars?" Spider asked him.
    "Maybe," Lo'ak responds.
    "Has to be," I add.
"But they're for sure not ours," Lo'ak says as we all get up to start tracking whoever this was.
"What are you doing?" Kiri asks us.
"Shh. I'm tracking," Lo'ak responds. We track the prints all the way to Grace's old lab. We hide behind some bushes trying not to make too much noise as we spot a bunch of avatars in the clearing. They aren't any of ours. They are wearing clothing unlike anything we have at our base. We hide behind some bushes as we try to get a better look.
"We are never supposed to come here," Kiri whispers. "Dad is going to ground you."
"Shh. Can you stop?" Lo'ak asks her with irritation in his voice.
    "For life," she adds.
"How about you both stop before we get caught," I hiss.
"Bro we have got to check this out," Lo'ak says to Spider.
"Let's go," Spider agreed as we inch a little bit closer. Kiri and Tuk stayed a little bit farther back, not wanting to get as close.
"Bro," Spider said to Lo'ak. "That's where your dad and my dad... fought"
"That's your dads actual suit," Lo'ak acknowledges
"Holy shit," I say. "Lo'ak you have to call this in."
"No, Bro, we're gonna get in trouble," Spider counters.
"Let's go," Lo'ak's says and we make our way back to the others. When we get there Lo'ak starts to call Jake over comms. "Devil Dog, Devil Dog, this is Eagle Eye over."
"Eagle Eye. Send your traffic," I hear Jake respond through my earpiece.
"I got eyes on some guys," Lo'ak shared. "They look like avatars, but they're in full camo and carrying ARs. There's six of them. Over."
"Whats your pos? Over," Jake asks.
"Oh... We're at the old shack," Lo'ak hesitates. Spider sighs knowing that we're gonna get it when we get back.
    "Who's we?" Jake asks.
"Me, Spider, Reya, Kiri... and Tuk," Lo'ak winces at the last part knowing that she shouldn't be here.
"Son, you listen to me very carefully," Jake says clearly. "You pull back right now. Do not make a sound. You get the hell out of there. Move! You copy?"
"Yes, sir, moving out," he responds. I give Lo'ak a nod letting him know I heard everything.
"See, I told you," Kiri whisper yells.
"Go, go," Lo'ak tells all of us. We quickly make our way away from the clearing as fast as we can.
"You're going to be in so much trouble," Kiri tells Lo'ak.
"Shh! Kiri, stop," Lo'ak says annoyed.
"Guys, come one. Quit arguing," I hiss at them.
"It's almost eclipse. Come on," Tuk hurries us. As she turns around to continue making her way through the forest, one of the avatars jumps out and grabs her. She screams as we all yell for her. We raise our bows as all of the avatars start to surround us. The avatar yell at us to put our weapons down. Lo'ak is the first to drop his weapon and I'm quick to follow after.
"Put it down. Put it down," Lo'ak says in Na'vi to Spider, who still has his bow raised.
"Spider!" I yell at him. He lowers his bow and throws it on the ground. Once he drops his bow the avatars force us down to the ground. One of them grabs me by my braid and forces me on my knees. I hiss at him as he pulls tighter.
    "Kiri," Tuk cries out.
"Be calm," Kiri responds trying to reassure her.
"Shut up. Don't move," one of the avatars says to Kiri. I hiss at the man bearing my fangs.
"What have we here?" A man says entering between all of us. He must be the leader.
"Hey colonel," The man holding Kiri says. "Check it out. Four fingers." He holds up her hand. "We got a half-breed."
"Shit..." I mutter. The colonel walks over to Lo'ak.
"Show me your fingers," he demands. Lo'ak holds up his hands flipping him off. "You're his aren't you?" Lo'ak snarls at him. "You're his all right." He walk over to me. "What about you, pretty girl. Show me your fingers." I refuse so he grabs my hand forcefully yanking it towards him. He sees my five fingers. "You're his too."
"No, I'm not," I his trying to wriggle out of the man's grip.
"Then who's are you?" The colonel asks.
"I don't know," I respond. He goes turns around and starts to walk away. "Dumbass," in Na'vi. He heard me and grabbed me by my braid and yanking on it. I hiss at him.
"Reya!" Lo'ak yells. He turns to Lo'ak and goes to grab onto him instead. "Touch her again and you're dead."
"Where is he?" The colonel asks him.
"Sorry, I don't speak English... to assholes," Lo'ak counters.
"Where is your father?" The colonel asks more stern. He yanks on his braid again and Lo'ak snarls at him.
"No!" I yell at the colonel.
"Really? You wanna play it this way?" The colonel asks him as he pulls out a blade. I start to yell at him in Na'vi as the other avatars tell me to shut up. The colonel drops Lo'ak and goes over to Kiri.
    "Kiri!" Lo'ak yells. "No! Stop!"
"Hey!" Spider shouts. "Hey, don't touch her! Hey!"
"Don't hurt her, please," I plead with the colonel.
"What's your name, kid?" The colonel asks Spider as he hisses at him.
"Spider... Socorro," Spider answers. The colonel signals his men to release Spider as he crouches down in front of him.
"Miles?" he asks and the realization dawns on all of us. He is Colonel Miles Quaritch. We don't know how. But we know that it's him.
"Nobody calls me that," Spider says.
"Well, I'll be damned..." The colonel says. "Well, I figured they sent you back to Earth."
"They can't put babies in cryo, dipshit," Spider snapped. The colonel signals one of his men to go back to hold Spider as he gets up.
"What are we doin' boss?" The man asks.
"Iron Sky, Blue One, Actual," he says into their comm system. "We are standing by for extract, over. Be advised we are bringin' in high value prisoners." They start to move us to a different location.
    "Let us go!" I shout.
"Shut up!" One of the avatars say. they take us to Grace's old lab and make us get on our knees again, still holding us by our braids.
"Lyle, get me some audio on this," Quaritch says as he hold some sort of tablet. Lyle does as he says and pulls up some audio on the tablet. I can see the screen he's holding and Neytiri pops up on it. "That's Sully's woman."
"She's an animal," the dude, Lyle, responded. I turn back around and look at Lo'ak with worried eyes. What if they take us. What would they do? What about Tuk?
Lo'ak gives me a reassuring look and mouths, "It's ok." I see Quaritch pick up his human skull and crush it in his hand. My eyes widen in fear and I look at Lo'ak again. I can tell he feels the same way. As it starts to get darker I'm starting to lose hope that we're going to get saved. But before I can lose all hope I hear a yipping sound in the distance. To the avatars it sounds just like any animal, but we all know that it's Neytiri in the distance announcing her arrival.
We all turn and give each other knowing looks. Lo'ak nods to me and I know that this is our chance. Kiri starts to chant in Na'vi and the guy tells her to shut up but before he can finish an arrow goes straight through his head. One of Neytiri's arrows. I throw my head back hitting the face of the avatar holding me. This causes his grip to loosen on my braid giving me the chance to escape.
Lo'ak grabs my hand pulling me through the forest. We don't look back and continue to run as fast as we can. We climb up a tree and start to sprint across the branches to safety.
"Go, go, go!" Lo'ak yells. "Come on. Let's go!" We run, Tuk right behind us. We run into Jake and Neteyam.
"Are you guys hurt?" Jake asks us.
"No, we're okay," I reassure him.
"Tuk, you hurt?" He asks as he crouches down next to him. She cries and falls into his arms. "Hey, hey, it's okay." Jake stands up again and looks at the aircraft taking off. "Okay, we're clear. We're clear. Everyone okay?" Neytiri and Kiri run up to us. No sign of Spider.
"Mom!" Tuk yells as she goes to hug her.
"Oh, thank you, Great Mother. Thank you," Neytiri says.
    "Where's Spider?" I ask Kiri.
"They took him," she cries. "They took him." I look over to Lo'ak with a worried expression and he reciprocates it.
"Okay. It's all right, baby girl," Jake soothes her and pulls her into a hug. "All right? He's a tough kid. Alright Shh. He's gonna be okay. We're all gonna be okay."
