THE PRINCE'S MATES

Blaze's POV

They say that when you sniffed the air, you will know if your mate is near.

For the past two centuries, I really did try it. I even got myself tired in sniffing in the air to the point that my nose hurts.

But at that very night of full moon, my eyes widened as I finally smelled something. Something sweet and fruity that reminds me of two things: peaches and apples.

I am really happy that I almost cried.

At last! My mate appeared!

But, why now? Does this mean that my other half just got born? What the hell is the age difference?! I may be desperate to find my mate, but I am not a pedo type of person.

But despite of that, I still feel overjoyed to the point that I started to run around like a crazy dog in the whole kingdom I am reigning as the strongest being.

Then after two weeks, I started to smell my mate coming closer. But at the same time, I received a report about another rogue attack!

"Damn it! When my mate is near, they decided to wreck havoc under my nose?!" I irritatedly roared as I transformed myself to a big red wolf form and run my way to the location of the rogue attack. But strangely, the scent of my mate is getting stronger.

'Damn it!' I thought while imagining my poor little mate being attacked by the bastards. And with Fuyo and Natsu behind me and the other wolves who are following behind as support, we rushed to the site where I can hear voices and also clash of metals.

"They seems to be rouges. Be more alert, Ying'er!" I heard a familiar voice which I can clearly recognize even though he turned to ashes- my best friend who is also the Vampire King, Sebastian.

But before we can approach them to aide them, an inaudible yet painful sound resounded the whole place that almost made my ears bleed. I turned to my company and some of them even fainted.

Another metal clashing was heard as the tune slowly died down. Whimpers can also be heard until finally, the sound stopped that made me stand on my feet and then attack Sebastian who is about to approach the man with the flute. But in a blink of an eye, a flash of black and white appeared in front of me for me to only realize that the one who is in front of me is not Sebastian but the man with the flute.

'H-how?' I thought while looking at the man in disbelief. He is stopping me with his one hand holding the unsheathe sword while looking at me as if his black eyes is piercing my soul and finally, it hit me!

My mate!

I still tried to push him, in hopes that I am seeing wrong. But I was attacked by Sebastian instead.

In the corner of my eye, I saw the man with the flute sit under the peach tree that suddenly popped out from nowhere. He then ate a peach that suddenly dropped from it and then hummed. He also offered Natsu and Fuyo who are looking at him with shocked faces. The two accepted it and then took a sit not that far to the man under the tree.

They transformed to be seen butt naked, I am enraged but what irritates me more is smelling my mate on Sebastian.

"Why aren't you helping your companion?" I heard Fuyo asked the man under the tree.

The man sighed and in a flick of hand, he is already holding a book before he sigh, "if they want to fight, then fight. I only stopped your companion because I felt the bloodlust, that's all."

"You stopped? Our Alpha is the strongest person in our kingdom though!" Natsu retorted but was glanced by the man with pure indifference.

I'm stopped? Yes! Technically speaking, he stopped me. But it's almost impossible to believe when he effortlessly stopped me!

"He needs to eat more. He is so light that I thought that the one who is attacking is a weightless feather." The man said that almost made me drop my jaw while still fighting Sebastian.

"Are you kidding me? You are the one who looks like will fall with a flick of my finger!" Natsu arrogantly said. I want to kick his ass right now!

I am still in the midst of the fight when I heard the man talk about the peach tree or some sort. Then my eyes grew wider than before when a very strange and rare scene showed itself right under my face...

"Tian'er! Stop that already!" Sebastian who is known to be the most prideful man I know immediately run towards the man like a tamed dog.

"I'm here, Ying'er!" Sebastian responded that made the man giggle.

I decided to turn to my human form that earned a gasp and wide eyes from Sebastian. He tried to cover the man's eyes and started to spout things that I deliberately ignored because my focus at that is no one but the man with black eyes. I didn't even bothered to cover myself. I saw his indifference that affected me greatly.

"Tian'er. Have you forgotten that you, him and I share such thing you are calling beast?" The man removed the hands of Sebastian who is blocking his line of sight and casually talked.

Well, he is right though!

That is the first time I met Ying'er. I was accepted and marked and also shared a lot of things such as worries, anger and more. But what I know is that he is my beloved, since beginning to the end.

Now that troubles started to arise, I as his mate is obligated to grow strong and dependable. Though I also doubt my existence as his mate, his smile and confessions makes me acknowledge myself as a one hell lucky man.
