After a while, they went back to the office. Eshaal kept looking at the envelope while Sophie was at her desk and MK outside her door.
She couldn't help but think. If they wanted to send in an invite. Why a letter?.
Why not an E-mail or something as most people do it now.
Her consciences kept giving good excuses upon excuses, which she was willing to give in to, but she couldn't shake off that gut feeling that something seemed weird.
She read the letter over and over again. This time paying attention to certain details.
Like how the paper had folds in three.
Like how the typed words where in black ink and in Italics.
Like how the letter ended in R....R!. But the R was a little hidden.
"Is that a typo?", Eshaal thought to herself. She started to feel a little paranoid.
All we have is a letter R written on paper as useless clue. She remembered Zach had said that a while back.
It was a little too late to be cross checking on the media but she at least had to, even though she knows Sophie would have done it.
She checked her phone for Spain's fashion week. And they ended up bringing out a website and so many YouTube videos on past events.
She clicked on it and was greeted with a list of different halal clothing companies from around the world. Indonesia, UK, Nigeria, Italy, New York and so on.
She found her Company in the list as number 15. Ok, out of 25.
She scrolled down a little more and saw a picture of the letter. Description under it saying,'This is how your letter should look like. If an R isn't at the end. It's not authentic'.
Her eyes widened in realization. I guess that's the show of authenticity. She thought.
She scrolled further down and there was another picture. It showed numbers at the back of the black envelope. She looked at the back and saw no numbers.
Her heart jumped. Is mine not authentic?.
She cross checked and say the description. 'Reflects due to the sun'.
She immediately stood up and faced it at the small ray of sun coming in from the window and saw a shine but the small ray wasn't enough. It looked like it was going to rain even.
She decided to try using her phone maybe it'd still reflect. Lucky enough, it did. There were numbers.
39°53'44", 2°29'12".
She squinted. What could these be?.
She looked at the signs. Longitude and latitude?...yes that was definitely it.
She shrugged it off after a while maybe for Spain.
There was a sudden knock on the door."Come in".
"Hey", Sophia said bringing in some paperwork."These are some pending designs you have to approve. It needs to be ready by at least next week. So the sewing department can begin", she added making Eshaal sigh.
"Can someone love and hate something at the same time?",Eshaal asked in annoyance while Sophie laughed.
"I have already done it but you have to make the final decision. You supposed to be making some designs but it's been so long you did that", Sophie voiced.
"I know. I know. I think I'm falling out of love with designing", Eshaal said and they both looked at each other cheekily before bursting out laughing.
"You are funny", Sophie laughed."That's almost impossible with you".
