~Even more Complicated~

We finally arrived in NY. I was very nervous and scared to step out of the plane.  There where no cameras or reporters to take pics or anything like that.

Well, it is a private hanger and they've probably forgotten about it. Mind you, you are certainly not that important.

We both see Ivan standing at the lot from afar. Zach and I glance at each other and back at Ivan as we near him. We finally park and get out of the car.

Ivan immediately approach Zach."Hey Ma'am" he smiles and wave and I do the same back getting my phone out of my pocket. I need to start on some work.

Immediately, he went back to whispering to Zach. I mean...I hear nothing. So yeah whispering.

After a while, I looked back up at Zach. His demeanor had suddenly changed from calm and collected to worried and that made me worry,"Is something wrong?" I ask stopping their whispering.

"Dolcezza(sweet heart), Could you pls go inside. I'll be with you shortly." Zach smiles reassuringly. I looked between the two men suspiciously. One happens to be my husband with pleading eyes, so I just do as he says.

Just as I did go in and crossed the pass way and into the living room, did I finally look up from my phone to see my whole family here. All eyes on me.

When did they...?. Zach did say something about them being here.

My Mum and Mother-in-law rushed to me. 'Are you ok?.' 'How do you feel?.' 'Bastard news'

Everything was being said in a rush so I just answered."I'm fine, I'm fine mum" I looked between both of them."Zach helped take care of it, all I need to do is get back to work. I have a big event ahead" I smile, trying to look at the bright side. Which was never my go to but first time for everything.

They awwned and hugged me. I squeezed both in the hug. I opened my eyes and saw them all looking at me with a smile on their face.

Uncle choco - prolly shouldnt be calling him that anymore. Savio, Hinata, A woman I haven't seen before, Humaira and Sienna who was situated behind a chair seemingly just cleaning her tears, sienna mouthed 'I'm sorry' and I only smiled at her, for now.

They finally broke the hug. My mum suddenly asked,"What are both of you keeping from us?" It seems it took her a lot to say that cause she suddenly wiped off a tear.

"Mum, I...It–it's complicated, I don't know—" I looked down in confusion. What would I say?.

"How did Andrea die?" I heard and I faced Ma Aurora. I opened my mouth but nothing came and I could suddenly hear my heart beat, I felt like throwing up.

The memories came flooding in. I looked at everyone's mouth moving but that was it, I could only see their lips moving, I can't hear a word, only 'Step' the last word from Andrea and the sound of a gun following immediately after.

Everyone's head suddenly turned away from me. I looked in to the direction they did to see Zach's stoic face. He looked at me and said something. His eyes suddenly resembled the ones of the masked killer.

My hands flew to my head as a wash of pain hit my head. I'm having an immense head ache and I can't even identify which part of my head it hurts. I saw the couch and took a step to it but ended up staggering. I was caught by Zach.

"I'll take you upstairs" I finally heard, his soothing voice immediately making my head ache somehow disperse.

I winced. The pain had hit me again."I'm fine" I automatically said. I am not fine.
