"Move forward K, I'll be in the back." She commanded but I raised my brow at her.

"May mga sofa naman po diyan na kasiya kayo, bakit dito pa sa pwesto ko?" I asked, kasiya kaming dalawa sa pwesto ko but the couch is L shaped kasiya parin siya sa adjacent side ng couch. 

"I want to lay beside you." She pouted and I gave in. I scooted forward and she went in my back. Nang makahiga na siya ay pinwesto na niya ang kaniyang braso para mahigaan ko. I lay my head there and she managed to cover us up with the blanket using her free hand. Kinuha niya narin ang remote na nasa uluhan lang pala namin at ini on na ang smartv niya. 

"What should we watch?" She asked while still busy finding a movie in the netflix.

"Anything you want." My voice is a little bit raspy when I said it. 

"Okay." She replied and went to youtube and choose Sofia the first? Napatawa naman ako nang mahina roon.

"You said anything I want. Don't judge me." Nagtatampong sabi niya kaya lalong lumakas ang tawa ko dahil doon. 

"I am laughing because it's cute Miss." Nakangisi kong saad na ikinangisi rin niya,

"You called me Miss, is that your way of saying that i have the permission to kiss you?" She asked and my eyes turned circle because of what she said. Nakalimutan ko pala. I immediately covered my mouth na siyang ikinahalakhak niya. 

"Relax I won't still kiss in your lips because sooner you will be the one who'll ask for it." Pagmamayabang niya at hinalikan niya ako sa noo. And flashback of the night when she kissed the side of my lips appeared in my mind. Her soft lips were clouding my mind again. But a ring in her phone made me came back to reality. 

She picked it up and answered the video call. 

"What?" She asked in irritated tone kaya naman sinulyapan ko kung sino ang tumawag sa kaniya. It was their gc I guess since nandoon si Miss Marie at Miss Luiz.

"Gaga magbirthday salubong tayo. Wala ka sa condo mo. Nasaan ka ba?" I heard Miss Luiz asked. 

"I am somewhere." Maikling sagot ni Miss. 

"Wow pang showbiz ang sagutan ha. Nasaan ka ba kasi? Birthday na birthday mo mamaya tapos hindi kami ang kasama mo?" Kunwaring nagtatampong sabi ni Miss Marie pero inirapan lang siya nang katabi ko. Hindi ako kita sa video call dahil madilim dito at nakatutok ang phone sa pagmumukha lang ni Miss.

"I am fine and happy to where I am tonight. So if you'll excuse me I have date. I'll drop this call now." Kita kong napangisi naman ang dalawa sa sinabi ni Miss. 

"Oi e chika mo yan sa amin pagbalik mo ha. Happy birthday bessy ko mwamwa ka sa akin." Makulit na ani ni Miss Marie na sinegundahan naman ni Miss Luiz. Napangiti naman ako sa kakulitan nila. 

Miss Cruz dropped the call and put the phone away. Nakita ko pa kung paano niya ito e off. It seems like she doesn't want to be disturbed, eh? Gusto talaga akong masolo. Naramdaman kong nilagay niya ang kamay niya sa tiyan ko. Even with a cloth that separates her hand and my skin I can still feel the warmth from her hand. I like this position. 

We busied ourselves watching Sofia the First and from time to time sinusubuan niya ako nang kung ano-anong mga pagkain na nasa table. Ayaw ko na rin ilabas ang kamay ko sa kumot kaya hinayaan ko na lang siya sa ginagawa niya. 

In a few minutes it will be her birthday kaya napatingin ako sa kaniya. I saw she was peacefully sleeping kaya naman pinatay ko na ang TV at dahan-dahan kong iniwan siya sa couch. Kinumutan ko siya nang maayos at lumabas. Tumila narin pala ang ulan. 

Nang makalabas ako ay pumito na ako. A man in a black raining coat appeared in front of me. Of course I have my body guard with me always. Overprotective ang parents ko. Yumuko ito sa akin at naghihintay sa sasabihin ko. 

"Get me twenty six peonies in my garden Tee. Bring it immediately here and use a car I don't want it to get ruined." I said and he looked at me questioningly.

"In your garden Miss?" He clarified and I nodded. 

"Lucky her." He said and left.

Naghintay lang ako nang dalawang oras ng makita kong may itim na kotse sa harapan ng bahay. Tee went out of the car and was holding the bouquet of peonies. I smiled at what I saw. 

"Thank you for this. Give me five minutes, I'll be back." Pagkakuha ko nang bulaklak ay pumasok na ako sa loob. She's still peacefully sleeping in the couch. I put the flowers in the center table para makita niya agad ito pagkagising niya. Pumunta ako sa kwarto niya para maghanap ng ballpen para masulatan ko na ang card na nandoon sa bouquet. When I found one I slowly made my way back to the living room. 

I smiled when I was done writing. I looked at her one more time before whispering goodbye at lumabas na. It is her birthday today and that's the only gift I can give her before leaving.
