Triton overhears them talking about their life underwater after college and warms up to them. #TritonandPercabethbonding. Made by yours truly.
Percy P.o.V
Finally, he thought as he got out of the examination hall. It was Christmas, and longed to see his Wise Girl.
He walked down the road, nodding his head at the demigods who were staring at him. He didn't like the attention, or the girls batting their eyelashes, but he had to show them respect too, right?
He finally reached her apartment and there she was.
His Wise Girl.
He held out his hand and they walked down to the sea.
It was a new trend he'd fallen in love with.
They would go to the bottom of the sea and talk about their life, all of it.
Today was different though.
"I had a nightmare." Annabeth admitted.
"Want to talk about it?"
"Yeah, it was about our life, from the beginning."
Percy sensed a force nearby.
He silently told Annabeth, who understood.
She mouthed 'Triton'.
Percy nodded.
Well, if he wanted to eavesdrop, then let him know.
They talked about everything,from Percy's abusive past, Annabeth running away, to surviving in Tartarus, till when both of them finally got the recommendation letters for New Rome University.
He knew Triton was still listening, and he felt him turn away, his face streaked with tears. How does a sea God cry underwater?
He doesn't know.
But when he signaled that he was gone, Wise Girl smiled.
"That's what he gets for eavesdropping." She mumbled.
Then theywalked out and returned to our apartments, after 'Beth made him promise to do his homework.
And he did stay up all night doing it, though probably everything had spelling mistakes.
Then he collapsed against my bed and fell asleep.
