Partners In Crime (Ethan Winters x Reader)

Everything was a blur when you woke up. You could hear so many muffled noises, loud noises. Your eyes were still blurry as you slowly opened them. You could see the blurred outline of Ethan and Heisenberg knelt down beside you. Heisenberg snapping his fingers in front of your face. You groaned. Then suddenly, everything began to focus.

"(Y/N)! Get up!" Heisenberg's voice spoke and you looked around, everything becoming clear to you now. You sat up a bit and felt Ethan's hand on your arm.
"Slowly, slowly. You're fine" He was holding Rose in his arms, and by now Rose had stopped her crying. She was looking at you and you gave her a small smile. She was adorable. You noticed that Apollo was still lying on the floor and you assumed the worst. You gave Ethan a look of "is he dead?" and Ethan sadly nodded. Sadness washed over you. God, he was a good horse. You were about to break down when you noticed what the loud noise was. A strong wind was hitting you now as a helicopter landed not too far from you all. You immediately grew a bit defensive, not taking any chances. You grabbed your handgun, aiming it and Ethan followed, doing the same with his spare hand. The back doors of it opened slowly as it landed, and out stepped someone that you thought you would never see again in your life. As he walked closer, you knew it was him.
"Chris?" You spoke, and Chris looked at you. He gave you a small smile.
"(Y/N), Ethan" He nodded to you both, in a greeting gesture.
"Wait (Y/N) you know him?" Ethan asked you, cradling and slowly rocking Rose now. You nodded.
"Chris is like a dad to me. He was there for me when my parents weren't" and that was true. Your parents had been friends with Chris, and you grew to like him too. When your parents started shying away from you, Chris was always there. You hadn't seen him in years though since you moved to the village, and here he was. Right in front of you.
"How do you know him?" You asked Ethan as you slowly began to stand up. Heisenberg helped you up and steadied you. Ethan and Chris explained everything of how they met and worked together, Chris being the one to save Ethan from the incident back in Louisiana. It caught you off guard how close they seemed to be.

"Come in! Is everything okay boss?" A voice spoke on Chris's radio and he answered.
"Subjects found and safe, yet to be loaded up. I'll report back once it's done."
After that you walked to the helicopter with Ethan and Heisenberg and just as you were all about to get on, one of the men stopped you.
"This one's a dangerous bio weapon" He stopped Heisenberg from getting on the helicopter.
"You're going to have to stay here. It's not safe for us" Chris spoke to him. You weren't having that.
"Heisenberg has helped us throughout this whole thing, he has not once proved to be a threat to any of us. He's coming with us whether you like it or not" You spoke, crossing your arms as you spoke to Chris and the man with him. Chris gave a sigh and had a slight smirk on his face.
"You're the same old (Y/N) all these years later. If he hasn't proved a threat, I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be allowed on."
You mouthed a thank you to Chris and turned to Heisenberg.
"Do you want to come with us? What about your life here? What about the others?"
"Of course I want to come with you. They'll all be fine here. I'll say my goodbyes and come visit them some time." You smiled at Heisenberg and were glad he was coming with you. You couldn't help but hug him and he froze for a second before hugging you back.
"I'll be back soon." He spoke afterwards and walked away, going to say his goodbyes. You and Ethan walked into the helicopter, taking a seat as you waited. Chris was talking to his men outside. Ethan was smiling down at Rose.
"She's adorable Ethan"
Ethan turned to you and gave you a smile.
"She is. I'm just so glad to have her back. I was so worried" You shuffled closer to him, leaning your head on his shoulder as he looked down at Rose. He turned his head and gave you a kiss on the forehead.
"So does this mean I'm a mum now?" You asked playfully, and Ethan chuckled.
"It does. You'll be a perfect mum to her (Y/N)"

A couple minutes later Heisenberg returned and everyone was in the helicopter now. It began to take off, and you looked out the window at the village that you grew up in, loved, and now hated and wanted to get out of. You thought about Apollo, and how much you had loved him. You owed him your life. You would definitely make a grave in remembrance for him when you got home. You tried not to think about it too much otherwise you would break down in tears. The village soon began to turn into a small dot as the helicopter rose higher and higher. Soon, you couldn't see it anymore. You were safe. Finally, you were safe. Relief washed over you as you turned back forwards, looking at Ethan and Heisenberg with a smile which they returned.

Chris brought you all back to Ethan's home. It was a nice, pretty big house. It definitely suited Ethan. Once Chris knew you were all settled in, he sat down with you, taking about some appointments that you all would have to attend, including Rose, to keep track of the mold. You all agreed to it and soon after, Chris left. It was just you four now. You, Ethan, Rose and Heisenberg. Ethan put Rose to bed in her cot and began showing you both around. The house was so pretty. Heisenberg and Rose had their own rooms and you stayed with Ethan in his.

A couple hours later Ethan prepared some food for you all. You all greedily gulped it down. Damn, it felt nice to actually eat some real good food instead of canned foods that you both found around the village. You also learnt that Ethan as a absolutely amazing chef, cooking you up the best dinner that you had had in a long time.

After dinner, you, Ethan and Heisenberg sat down on the sofa together, watching some things on TV and talking. You all soon after had a shower and it was the best thing ever. It definitely beat having to have showers in the cold lakes.

Soon, it was time for bed. Everyone said goodnight to each other and you climbed under the covers with Ethan, absolute comfort surrounding you. Ethan bought his hand to your hip, pulling you towards him so that you were being spooned. You sighed comfortably.
"Happy to be home?" You asked him.
"Fuck yeah" You both laughed quietly at his response. After a minute of comfortable silence, you spoke again.
"Goodnight Ethan. I love you"
"Goodnight (Y/N), I love you too"

You soon both began to drift off into a very deep sleep. Everyone had the best nights sleep that night...
