Naomi
"Let me go, Matteo." I frown, trying to get out of his strong hold, and it didn't help that I had only one arm to use."Noo just a little longer, please." He begs like a child.
We were currently at school in the middle of the hallway. I don't think he could be more inconsiderate. He's been hugging me randomly ever since we hung out at his pool.
This is why I hate being in public with him now. I've been having to deal with his affection for two and a half weeks thanks to my sister. I liked it but hated it at the same time.
Mainly because people are going to think we're a thing, and it's embarrassing to be known for messing with a man-whore. Ugh, I just want to scream at the thought because I don't even know what we are. I hated the fact that I was catching feelings for someone like him.
He finally lets me go, and I sigh in relief. I needed to get my stuff from my locker, and he was holding me up. He starts to follow me, and I stop to turn around and look at him.
"Matteo, how about you take a break today? You've been working so hard this past week. I think I can handle today on my own."
"But I got to help you. I promised your sister."
"I know, but today it's okay."
"No, I want to."
"Well, I don't want you to."
"Naomi," he frowns.
"I'm serious. Leave me alone. I'll see you in fifth period."
"But,"
"There is no but. Just go." I say harshly. I knew it didn't hurt him. He was used to my sour mood.
"How about I meet you after third instead of fifth?"
"Fine, long as I have first and second to myself."
"Okay, Naomi. I'll be missing you. I know you will miss me too." He smiles, walking away.
"I wouldn't bet on it." I say with a sweet smile.
On my way to my locker I see a light-skinned boy with soft brown curls standing in front of it and let out an annoyed sigh, realizing who it was. Brandon was standing in all his lame ass glory, waiting for my arrival. I just could not get a break today.
"Could you move, please?"
"Yo, Naomi, what are you doing hanging around that white boy? I know it's hard to upgrade after me, but that nigga, really?"
I scoff at his words. How delusional could he be? "He's Italian, so he's spicy white, and last time I checked, you're half white."
"Look at you standing up for him and shit. He must have fucked you, right? He's lucky. You never even let me touch you."
"That's none of your business, first of all. And secondly, you're in my way. Move."
"Naomi, you know it's not too late for us to fuck. You'll have a way better time with me anyways."
"I'm good. How about you go do that with someone else, like my best friend? Oh wait, you already did that."
