Jori

The gang was having a movie night at the Vegas. Tori was sitting with her girlfriend Jade, Trina and Cat beside them. Robbie and Andrè on the floor and Beck with his girlfriend Tara Ganz on the other sofa. David was enjoying reading at the dinner table since he was off duty that night. It was rare for him to see his two daughters enjoying themselves with a stay in on a Friday. As the movie was ending David set up the table for dinner. David lost his wife Holly two years after Tori started Hollywood Arts. Trina was already together with Cat and that's how she met the others.

His youngest fell in love with Jade the first time they saw each other. Jade was a bit hard to open about herself, but the youngest Vega did not give up that easy. Jade confessed some weeks later that she too had feelings for Tori, it took some convincing from her best friend Beck to fess up before it was too late. Tori was popular with the boys, but she always shut them down when asked out. Jade got pissed when Ryder was using her for a grade and smashed his car for making the girl cry. 

He knew then and there that Jade, even being reserved would always protect her from any harm that would come. When Jade told him about what the boy had done and she did it out of spite he did not get angry, he felt proud of her, but he never told that to the goth.

The boys were fixing the grill as the girl was setting up the table and David just got home from the store. As they were having dinner the lights went out and a scream was heard outside. Everyone was confused and David quickly took his gun and looked outside the window when he saw his neighbor run towards him.

"Beck, back me up" he said as he helped his friend Adam from whoever was after him. When he went out, he saw Adam on the ground screaming as a giant monster was about to stab him, but David started to fire his gun. The screech from the monster was loud, Beck was just standing at the driveway he too was speechless and scared.

He started to shoot as well while David was dragging Adam into his driveway and locked the gate. The others were outside just behind and saw the monster as well. Jade noticed that the monster was gaining its energy back so she ran back inside and got the shot gun.

As the others ran back inside, she ran out and was now behind Beck shooting at the monster once again while he was reloading the gun. David and Adam were just inside the gate as the two teenagers was slowly walking backwards into the house.

As they entered Trina helped him with the first aid. "What the hell was that" David asked as Adam was trying to breath. "I don't know it came from nowhere" he said with panic in his eyes. "It was a fucking monster like in one of those alien movies... what the fuck" Jade said as she was reloading the weapon. David called his station and apparently there's chaos there as well. "There's a lot of calls of attacks around the city" he said, Cat turned on the news as the reporter was talking about a massive alien attack.

Everyone was speechless and scared. They couldn't believe their eyes as they thought this could be a joke but apparently it was not. The teenagers were calling their families and David had been talking back and forth with his station and the president had called for the Code Black which meant that the county was under attack and those who had weapons needed to defend themselves and find shelter in the nearest bunker.

Trina and Tori were packing their bags as well as their father and got their sentimental things and weapons. They took all the family photos that they could take and important documents. They all drove to each teens house as they too were worried for their own family, they as well needed to pack the things that they wanted with them.

Jade on the other hand was an unofficial orphan since her parents never wanted her in the first place. She only had her girlfriend and her friends, so it was easy for her to pack her bags and took all her important belongings and just continue to drive with the others.
