Tori was standing outside the balcony, she was crying silently and hoped that she wouldn't be mistreated by her new bride.

The latina didin't have any other choice but to agree when her father came home and told her and the rest of their family that she was to be married off to Kevin West first born.

Of course she didin’t agree to it but when her father dropped the bomb about her mothers cheating and the embezzlement from the Firm the West Family owned David Vega coulden't do anything but agree to his demands so that his wife would not be thrown in jail and be embarrassed by the court.

Both sisters yelled and screamed at their mother who broke down and begged for their forgiveness but the two coulden't.

David told them that both families would be meeting on friday to get to know one another and to give the two betrothed a chance to meet before the wedding.

So here she was standing outside the balcony as she was looking at the overlooking view of New York City.

"Don't cry, I hate seeing people cry" a voice said as she jump a little.

She turned around and was met by her soon to be wife.

"I.. I'm sorry" she whispers looking away from her and was wiping her tears away.

Jade stood in front of her and pulled her face up so that they were now eye to eye with each other.

The pale woman wiped away her tears as she spoke to her.

"You are to be my wife soon, I know that my father forced this onto your father for what your useless mother did to my family and to you"

Tori stared at her with shame and she knew that but Jade didin't blame her. It was never her fault.

"My father told me to get married because of my public image, he does not like that the media is painting me as a player with a new girl every week" she continues.

"I agreed because I don't want him to think that what the media is saying about me is true and trashing the West name into dirt. We will marry but don't be afraid, I will treat you right" she said in a more softer voice.

Tori nodded her head and gave her a small smile.

"Thank you" she whispered.

The wind blew stronger and chills went through the tanned skin of the bride to be.

Jade took off her jacket and set it around Tori who was blushing now.

The two stood there talking about their marriage and the wedding that was to be held a few weeks from now.

The next day it was announced that Jade West, the heir of the West Family, grand daughter of Blake Carrington was to be married to Victoria Vega.

Tori's friends found out from the news and was not happy that she never told them that she was engaged so when she entered her morning class her best friends Andrè and Robbie bombarded her with questions and she told them what had happened during the weekend.

At lunch things had been weird cause instead of getting meals from the cafeteria there was a table ready for her and her friends in the middle of the place.

She was told that it was arrange by the Carringtons and that from now on she would be served at the table.

Robbie was greatful for the lunch that was given to him since he had a specific food plan cause of his allergies.

Andrè who had always had a crush on her was pissed because he knew that she was forced to agree to it.

"Then tell them that you are with me, that I am your boyfriend" he spit out and Tori raised her brow looking at him.
