Hi everyone and welcome to a new chapter! I have a good announcement to make: Weizhanns (hua lian) volunteered to become the editor of this work for me from this chapter onwards! Yay!! Once again, thank you so much for that!! :3

Ch.110:‌ ‌Fight‌ ‌the‌ ‌Reverend;‌ ‌Crown‌ ‌Prince‌ ‌Takes‌ ‌Wind‌ ‌Master's‌ ‌Place‌ ‌

"What?" Hua Cheng calmly questioned after reading the title. Although his demeanor was suave, everyone could hear the anger within it, which caused some to unconsciously shiver.

"Who will fight the Reverend?" Wu Du asked while clenching his fists. He knew it was horrible, but he secretly hoped that Xie Lian would be the one to face-off the reverend, instead of Qingxuan. Don't get him wrong, he knew more than anyone that Qingxuan was capable, but he wasn't so sure if she was capable against the Reverend. But with Xie Lian's luck, he wasn't sure that he'd beat the Reverend without any borrowed luck.

Qing Xuan saw the conflict of emotions on Wu Du's face and smiled arrogantly, tilting her head upwards as she spoke, "Don't underestimate me, Ge, I'm strong enough to handle the Reverend. I'm just running away because it's too tiring to do so."

'The wind master really is...' Xie Lian and many others felt warm at the sight of Qing Xuan doing her best to reassure her obviously panicking brother.

'Don't speak nonsense,' Wu Du wanted to scold Qing Xuan. 'This isn't a game where you can use your looks to your advantage.'

However, after seeing and hearing Qing Xuan's efforts to make him calm, he couldn't bring himself to say anything except for one thing: "I know you're strong, Qing Xuan."

Qing Xuan looked surprised, her eyes widening in disbelief for a few moments before she laughed happily. "I'm glad you know, Ge."

"What I want to know is why his Highness will take the Wind master's place," He Xuan pondered, briefly glancing at the Ghost King who was concealing his fury at the matter with a suave demeanor.

"Yeah, just what happened for them to need to switch places?" Qian Qiu wondered vocally, his eyebrows furrowing.

‌However,‌ ‌no‌ ‌more‌ ‌sounds‌ ‌came‌ ‌from‌ ‌Shi‌ ‌Qingxuan.‌ ‌

"We really should have brought the tea from a while ago back here," Pei Ming mouthed to Ling Wen who nodded in agreement. The both of them looked towards Wudu's face, frowning as they noticed his grim expression.

‌Xie‌ ‌Lian‌ ‌was‌ ‌feeling‌ ‌unsettled,‌ ‌"Lord‌ ‌Wind‌ ‌Master,‌ ‌what‌ ‌happened‌ ‌to‌ ‌you?‌ ‌Are‌ ‌you‌ ‌still‌ ‌here?‌ ‌What's‌ ‌going‌ ‌on?‌ ‌Why‌ ‌aren't‌ ‌you‌ ‌saying‌ ‌anything???"‌ ‌ ‌

‌If‌ ‌he‌ ‌was‌ ‌only‌ ‌taken‌ ‌away‌ ‌by‌ ‌rowdy‌ ‌night‌ ‌cruisers‌ ‌who‌ ‌were‌ ‌only‌ ‌seeking‌ ‌a‌ ‌bit‌ ‌of‌ ‌fun,‌ ‌he‌ ‌wouldn't‌ ‌be‌ ‌so‌ ‌quiet‌ ‌so‌ ‌suddenly,‌ ‌so‌ ‌had‌ ‌he‌ ‌met‌ ‌harm‌ ‌already?‌ ‌But‌ ‌being‌ ‌anxious‌ ‌and‌ ‌distraught‌ ‌was‌ ‌useless,‌ ‌since‌ ‌he‌ ‌didn't‌ ‌even‌ ‌know‌ ‌where‌ ‌Wind‌ ‌Master‌ ‌was.‌ ‌

"I'm sure I'll be fine," Qing Xuan reassured everybody, secretly reassuring herself so she wouldn't panic. She looked towards Xie Lian, and gave him an amiable wink.

'You really are admirable, Wind Master,' Xie Lian thought to himself as he smiled at her. 'To be able to keep your smile up even if everything seems grim.'
