HO HO HO Merry Christmas (happy holidays if you don't celebrate it)!!

I'm back! Kinda, hehehe... And although my update schedule will still be a mess, I'll definitely start updating again! :3 Why is it still a mess? Well, unfortunately, I have been busy with life (money really does make the world go round T_T) so yeah, don't be surprise with my slow update :3

PS: This is the chapter I was supposed to publish during my hiatus but I didn't know that my friend finished editing this chapter already so I never got to publish it until now so sorry for that T_T but hey, at least now you have two chapters to enjoy hehehe (yes, I'm publishing chapter 45 too)~ :3

"We're finally allowed to enter!" Pei Ming cheered a bit too loudly while frantically clapping his hands. However, he quickly stopped once he saw most of the people entering the room looking like they got beaten up, or verbally assaulted.

Hua Cheng walked inside the room with an equally grim expression as the others. "Let's begin," he demanded the moment he and Xie Lian sat down, completely ignorant of the fact that there were still some who hadn't taken their own seats yet.

"...Of course," Lynn replied after a little hesitation, clapping once to transport the remaining people standing to their respective seats, before pressing play to turn on the display.

Hua Cheng glanced at He Xuan to try and barely contain the urge to throttle He Xuan.

He thought of adding a bit more interest to He Xuan's already crippling dept, but he quickly scrapped the idea, albeit reluctantly. Not only would Dianxia be disappointed if he found out, but also because Hua Cheng believed (knew) that He Xuan wouldn't risk harming Xie Lian, even if the Prince was in the Wind master's body.

Doing so would be like finalizing his own death sentence, after all, as Hua Cheng would no doubt take revenge.

However,‌ ‌even‌ ‌though‌ ‌contours‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌surrounding‌ ‌trees‌ ‌and‌ ‌branches‌ ‌could‌ ‌now‌ ‌be‌ ‌distinguished,‌ ‌he‌ ‌just‌ ‌couldn't‌ ‌make‌ ‌out‌ ‌the‌ ‌face‌ ‌of‌ ‌that‌ ‌black‌ ‌shadow‌ ‌no‌ ‌matter‌ ‌what,‌ ‌like‌ ‌there‌ ‌was‌ ‌a‌ ‌cloud‌ ‌of‌ ‌demonic‌ ‌black‌ ‌mist‌ ‌swirling‌ ‌around‌ ‌that‌ ‌figure.‌ ‌

"Is it hiding its true form?" Banyue asked up with her eyebrow raised, feeling confused. "It could do that?"

"It seems so," Jun Wu commented in a low tone, his serious voice causing some officials to have shivers down their spines. "Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of information regarding every Ghost in existence, as many remain hidden or pacified enough to not cause any disturbance."

Qi Rong smirked as he got prepared to mock his words. "Hah!" He pointed at everyone, ending the pointing parade at Jun Wu. "All of you, even your Emperor, really are useless."

Ignoring Qi Rong, Banyue asked a follow-up to Jun Wu's answer, "And why is that?"

"Because ghosts are mysterious and created in different ways," Xie Lian kindly explained. "It's almost impossible to keep track of all of them."

‌The‌ ‌Wind‌ ‌Master‌ ‌fan‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌Wind‌ ‌Master‌ ‌was‌ ‌a‌ ‌first-rate‌ ‌spiritual‌ ‌device;‌ ‌it‌ ‌could‌ ‌blow‌ ‌away‌ ‌essences‌ ‌of‌ ‌evil‌ ‌and‌ ‌bring‌ ‌order‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌world.‌ ‌
