"I saw that," Aizawa muttered.
You puffed out your cheeks. "Oh my gods! Sensei, you really need to learn how to mind your own business!"
The few classmates that you'd used your powers on were able to continue training without any major problems. It was hard to tell exactly at what point your Quirk lost effect, even though you made efforts to monitor them, but they adhered to your command and saw it through until the very end. Unfortunately, they later reported experiencing a sudden drop in their energy level.
"It was really abrupt," Shouto had said to you. "It's probably because of my own body's limits. When your Quirk was cast on me, it felt as if I had to listen to your words no matter what, and I was able to keep pushing myself without any repercussions, but once it was over, my body felt heavy, like a rock."
Well, it wasn't as if you'd expected for everything to go perfectly. It made sense that there would be drawbacks, especially when you were basically asking people to force themselves to keep going. It was an important piece of information to keep in mind. In battle, you would have to refrain from making any outlandish requests, otherwise your friends and allies may very well end up breaking their bodies on your behalf.
Overall, you thought it had gone quite well. You'd done your best to control the output of power so that no one passed out, which meant that Aizawa had no excuse to tie you to a tree. You were feeling pretty drained yourself, from using your Quirk on multiple people again, but this time had gone much better than back when you'd tried the same tactic in the forest of beasts. You eventually wrapped up training for the day, cooked dinner with the rest of your classmates, and then it was time for the exciting event Pixiebob had announced earlier.
"The test of courage!" Mina cheered, holding you by the hand as she hopped up and down. "I'm so excited! Finally, all of my hard work has paid off!"
Kirishima sighed. "Seriously, it's been rough..."
"You guys have earned it," you smiled. "I'm excited to see how it'll go. I wonder if it'll actually be scary."
"This is a summer classic! Doing a test of courage is practically a rite of passage for high school students!"
Cutting through the elated cheers of your friends came a deep, gruff voice. "Yes, about that," Aizawa drawled. "While it pains me to say it, the remedial bunch are about to have a review lesson with me starting right now."
You watched as the color left Mina's pretty, pink skin.
"NO WAY!"
"[Name], no..." Kirishima whined, clinging to you in despair. "Don't let him take us away... I don't know how much more of this my body can handle..."
"Yes, yes, it sucks to be you," Aizawa commented insincerely. "What we covered last time turned out to be far less than I'd planned on, which means we have to go through the motions all over again. Wash, rinse, repeat. This is the only way to drill information into your head."
You bit your lip, watching as your ruthless teacher tied up the five unfortunate students in his cloths and began dragging them away. Mina and Kirishima kept crying out to you, begging for you to save them. It was truly a sorry sight.
"We'll just have to have enough fun for everybody else too," you huffed. "I'll make sure to tell them all about it later."
"I think that'd just make them even more jealous..."
"Class B will be first up at scaring people," Pixiebob explained. "They're already set up and waiting for you. Class A will have pairs of two leave roughly every three minutes. In the middle of the route, there'll be a card with your name written on the back. Take it back with you as proof of having cleared the challenge!"
