He had arrived at the room before the throne room, there a gate closed and a mini boss appeared, on top of the mini boss there was the health bar and the name of the enemy "elite royal guard"

As soon as Gon read the title, he turned off his phone and let out a gasp

Gon stood silent for a couple of minutes.

It was a reaction he couldn't control. He didn't even process what he had done until the phone was already turned off. It felt so stupid

'Why?' he thought

He looked at his hands and frowned, then he shook himself and began playing again

'There's no point in being afraid of something dead'

The mini boss was no difficulty getting through. It gave him a weapon upon defeat, and it turned out really useful against the final boss

About fifteen minutes later, he had finished the level

He briefly checked the chat with Killua and Leorio before turning off the phone for good and laying on his back

He brought his hands behind his head and stood silent for a while, he was going to a research facility to meet with Killua for the first time in well over a year, why didn't Killua ever come to visit him? Leorio did almost every month, and Killua would call Gon very often. There was even a period where he would call every day, but he never came personally

Well, Killua was busy protecting his sister, but....he never brought her on Whale Island

Well, it didn't matter. He had his motives, maybe bringing Alluka in place where the only way out is a boat wasn't the best of options, he had his brother hunting him down after all, yeah, that must have been the reason

Though, Gon felt like it wasn't the only reason

"Let me go! I don't have much time!"

Gon didn't stay the whole morning in his cabin. He actually went on the deck to explore the ship. It certainly lived up to its fame. The ship was beautiful

He liked to help with the crew, too, but felt like they could handle the ship on their own. He didn't really need to help. He was a passenger, after all

As the vessel travelled through the sea, passing by Saherta and going for the great sea, towards Ochima, Gon just enjoyed the view, the sea was beautiful, every now and then he would see dolphins and other sea creatures, he even had the luck to see an entire family of whales, as the wind sent the ship forward Gon would climb on the mast to better see the islands in the distance

There weren't even storms for the entirety of the trip, being the firsts of October the climate seemed to be pretty calm, usually the biggest storms happens in late December so there was nothing to worry about for now

The week went by pretty fast, nothing was really happening on the ship and Gon spent his time mostly reading, playing video games and watching the horizon, however he did get a chance to know the crew, being a hunter they treated him pretty nicely, he got to know the captain as well, he was a pro hunter, a sea hunter, like Morel, however he wasn't a veteran like Morel was and simply used his license to explore the world, he asked about Gon's nen and Gon simply answered that he used to have it, but it was sealed away in a fight

The ship arrived at Maiadel the morning of the 6th of October, one day before it was supposed to, since Killua was supposed to arrive the 7th with his airship Gon decided to stay in the big city on his own for a while
