Killua felt himself slowing coming back to his senses

He felt a muted and distant pain to the back of his head. Other than that, he was completely fine. He slept long enough that his aura had fully replenished. However, he felt that he was almost out of electricity to use. If he were to activate it now, Godspeed would only last about 15 seconds

'I was knocked unconscious? Right, I was fighting Neferpitou. When did she hit me? My memory is all fuzzy. "

He didn't open his eyes. He analyzed everything around himself with his other senses first. He tried using his scent and only felt a faint smell of rotten wood and dust around himself, mixed with other and confused smells he couldn't make out. Then he tried moving his fingers slightly. He felt the mattress he rested his body on; rough and damaged on the outside, but surprisingly comfortable. He tried to sense the nen around himself, concluding there were 4 aura signatures in his close proximity. At last, he tried to hear the sounds around him, concentrating on the muffled and distant voices that seemed to surround him. Eventually, he was able to fully come to his senses and make out the noises around himself

A first voice came from his left. It was about a meter from him, standing right in front of his bed

"... everything ok?" Said a feminine voice, one that he instantly recognized

'Neferpitou!' He exclaimed in his mind. He wanted to move. He wanted to get up and start fighting again. However, the voice was too close. At that distance, even with Godspeed, he wasn't certain he'd be abke to evade her if she fought back, so he stoof still and kept listening

Another voice came from his right, a rough and almost snake like male voice. "...you've got some explaining to do, Miss Royal Guard"

There was a sudden shift in the atmosphere. Even Killua, with his eyes closed, could feel the tension building up in the short silence that followed those words

Then, there was a spike of bloodlust, not from the two near him, but from the corner of the room, this presence became extremely invasive really fast and then moved swiftly towards the one that just spoke

He felt a spike of Ken coming from the man to his right. He heard a loud crash and a complete shift in the air. Something really fast had just come to a halt, and something else began to move even faster

Hia reaction was immediate. His eyes snapped open, and he sat up within an instant. In those brief moments he experienced in slow-motion, he saw the following scene before him

A tall man, within his forties, with pink hair and a purplish sweater, with his arms covered in nen to block a wooden plank tied roughly to a metal pipe, at the handle of the weapon the other person came in Killua's view, a girl, wearing a grey and dark-red sweatshirt, with brown curly hairs and weird facial hairs at the side of her cheeks. The girl was pushing down on the man with all her might, her weapon began to sink within one of the man's arms, her Ko overpowering his Ken ever so slightly, but sufficient to badly bruise his right arm

In the following instant, as the man pushed back the girl, another figure reached the scene at unbelievable speed, he recognized her immediately as her hoodie fell off against the air resistance, revealing her inhuman ears, Neferpitou, she grabbed the other girl from behind, blocking her with her arms in a lock around her head

Neferpitou herself experienced everything in slow-motion and saw Killua, wide eyes and his mouth hanging open, watching her in disbelief. Or disgust....or anger? Honestly, she couldn't tell. His expression was unreadable

She kept stopping Kayla from further attacking Binolt. The strength of an officer was no match for that of a Royal Guard, so it should have been rather easy for Neferpitou to handle her
