My gaze faltered to the book before me as it soon moved to the two demon hunters presence.

"Alright, Remind me on why you two are here again?"I stated gazing at them.

Alucard who is sitting across me and was reading a book raised his gaze towards my direction."We just simply want to accompany you".

Granger who is sitting at a nearby window and was reading a book answered monotonously."Just like what he said".

I raised a brow as i nodded bringing back my attention to the book.My head was down against the table as the book covered my face.

'How can i focus on studying when this two are here?'

I thought,sweat dropping as i steal a glance at them both.'I mean..yeah.Who could even focus?'
I snapped out of my thoughts and furiously gazed at my book.

'Alright!Stop it (L/n)!.Gotta focus for a better future!'.

Many thoughts filled up my head as i didn't even know what part im reading on.

"(Y/n)"

A deep voice cut off my thoughts as i froze seeing Granger now in front of me.I blinked gazing at him.

'Fudge...Did he read my mind?!'

His bandaged hand made contact with mine as a sigh escaped his lips."Your crumpling the pages."

Realizing what he said,i gazed down at the book i was currently reading and frowned when i saw that indeed the book's pages is crumpled.

'Poor book'

My hand gently faltered it's strong grip on the book as i let out a frustrated sigh."What have i done"
I stated with a restrained voice as i set my face on the table.

A screech can be heard as i slowly gazed infront.Granger seated himself before me as he settles the book he is reading on the side.

"What's wrong?"

He asked as i raised my head up fully."What? Nothing's wrong..."I abruptly stop as i noticed the other demon hunter wasn't with us anymore.

"Wait, where's Alucard"

Upon my question he suddenly gave me a serious glare as he stayed silent.I flinched slightly blinking as i gulped silently.

'W.. what's with him?'

After a few solid minute he then sighed and leaned his back on the chair as he crossed his arms gazing at me but more softly this time.

"There is clearly something wrong"

I blinked upon his statement as i tilted my head in confusion."The idiot went off somewhere to find a book,now tell me what's wrong"

Hearing his words i let out an oh.

'Fudge...i was deep in thought that i didn't notice Alucard going away"

"Don't just "Oh" me."

I snapped out of my thoughts once again as i gazed at the Vagrant poet before me.

"Please,answer my question".He asked but more of a demand.

'Alright,that was hot...wait!'

I gulped silently smiling at him sheepishly."I..i.. apologize i was just frustrated that i couldn't memorize the notes that I've taken yesterday"

I flinched slightly when he gazed at me intensly as if analyzing if im telling the truth or not.

"Alright then"

I mentally sighed in relief when i managed to convinced him as i smiled.

"What part?"

I gazed at him confusingly."P..pardon?".He gently snatched one of the scroll's beside me as he opened and scanned it's contents.

"In what part can't you memorize it?"

'Oh!'

"Oh uh, it's the part where you perform magic with doing the right gestures.I think there's 12 of them?".I stated with a triumph grin, confident on my knowledge.

"Wrong."

'Huh?'

"There's actually 18"He stated rotating the scroll's contents forward for me to see while pointing at my notes.

I froze and deflated, clearly deadpanning on why i forgot such thing.

"Oh"

Another sigh escape his lips as he gazed at the contents once again."Stop being depressed, I'll help you"

"D.. depressed?"I question with a sweat dropped."No,you got it wrong im not depressed just broken when i for-"

"Yes,you clearly aren't.Despite the black bags under your eyes and your mostly recent 'Deep in thought moments sometimes".He cutted me off bluntly while gazing at more of the scroll's that I've taken notes into.

I halted gazing at him.'Damn, he's really observant'.

"Hmm,you went silent."I froze as i saw his stare now focused on me while the unexpected happened.

"Did i struck a nerve?"There before me under the turtle neck jacket Granger had,his lips were slightly raised as he gazed at me.
