Jimin pov
"You have to eat that, Jimin, that's an order from your boss," Hyejin shook her head, "noona!" I whined, slumping back on the chair. First it was salad and then last week she started with a sandwich and now she is giving me real food to eat.
"You need that, for someone who works like you do, you should eat more than this," she said, not even looking up from her food. I let out a sigh, "we are gonna stay here until you complete that plate," she ordered, pointing her chopsticks at me.
I reluctantly started eating, looking around for a way to escape this situation, just then her phone rang and my eyes lit up. I looked at her secretly to see if she would leave to attend the call and she got up and looked around. Just then Haneul passed by and noona called her.
"Look over at him while I take this call please," she said, and Haneul looked at me before looking back at her and nodded, "I don't need a babysitter," I scoffed, and she gave me a glare which made me look down and continue eating.
When Hyejin left I looked at Haneul who was trying her hardest not to laugh, "someone 7 years younger than you babysitting you," she snickered and I glared at her but she only laughed louder.
"Look, I will do anything you ask for if you help me throw this away," I said, hoping she would agree, she seemed to consider for a moment before she shook her head, "you can bribe me, Jimin-shi, but what about your manager? I got a diet plan for you today from your manager and she put me in charge of your dinner. I have a feeling it was Hyejin-shi's idea," she said.
"What? If my manager is involved I will be put through this for every 3 meals," I groaned, "don't worry, Jimin-shi, I went through it and it's filled with proper nutrition and also won't affect your body shape," she assured, "you sure?" I asked, and she nodded. I will just have to find excuses every day to not eat.
"By the way..." she trailed off, looking unsure if she should continue or not, "Jin oppa... He has been avoiding me these days, do you know why?" she asked, and she looked so sad talking about it that I felt bad.
"After getting to know about your age he thought it was good to put some distance between you both," I answered, "so he did want something more than friends with me!" she exclaimed, "that you have to talk to him," he raised my hands, not wanting to be overly involved in their matter and tell Jin hyung's feelings.
"To confirm that I need to talk to him and I can't even see him these days and even if I do he runs away before I could catch him," she sighed, "I can help you with it," I suggested. Jin hyung was quite happy when he met Haneul and told us about her but when he got to know their age gap he was upset and still is but just doesn't show it now. I wanted him to talk it out with her and if it doesn't work out he could at least get closure from it.
"You would?" her eyes lit up with hope and she smiled big and I immediately panicked, "look, I can only help you corner him and talk to him, but don't get your hopes high, he might not want to take a step forward like you do," I clarified, but she still looked at me with her smile unwavering. "I at least get a chance to talk to him, I will use it wisely," she winked, making me chuckle.
"Thank you, Jimin-shi," she said, smiling big, "I am doing this for hyung also, you don't have to thank me," I smiled back, and she clutched her heart, slumping back on her chair, "your smile," she sighed, "you are an angel," she said, looking at me with 'heart' eyes. I laughed at that, covering my mouth with my palm and throwing my head back.
We finished our dinner and noona asked me what I was planning to do now, "gonna practise for some time before leaving," I answered, "oh... I thought of discussing the song that you are working on now," she trailed off, I slowly nodded my head, I did need a few suggestions on the song. "Ok, come on, we will go to my studio," I said and she nodded following me out of the cafeteria.
