you, along with your team, was currently kneeling down to a set of trees, jar in hand.

right now, you were on a sort of field trip to the forever fall forest.

the entire point of this trip was collect some sort of sap for Professor Peach.

you had the chance to stick with Ruby and the others, but you had decided to split off, you felt as if you were always a bit to close to Ruby and did communicate that with her, so you wanted to feel a little more...independent? is that the right word?

you kept on high alert, there was always a chance of being attacked after all.

your team, half of them, didn't seem to be having the same mindset, especially if the two siblings that were once again arguing, but quietly as to not hurt your ears, meant anything.

it got to the point you and Alice had to filled their own jars because they just weren't doing it themselves.

you were starting to be irritated by their antics.

you took a deep breathe and used your semblance to grow two arms and slapped the both of them on the back of the head to stop them.

they looked at you with downcast looks.

this happens all the time, you having to stop them through some sort of hit and then they look at you as if you kicked a puppy.

and you always felt bad about it.

and they were always none the wiser because they were dumber than rocks about it.

your tail and ears deflated under their gazes.

you're disappointed gaze morphed into a sad one.

however, Alice came to your rescue and lectured them about it.

the both of you were like the parents to two children, just minus the romance.

you turned back around and continued to fill the jars of sap as Alice continued her lecture to the siblings.

you then retracted the arms back into your body, and you winced.

it was always so uncomfortable to grow and retract limbs....

never the less, you continued your work, completely ignoring the lecturing being given to the two siblings.

'honestly, how am i the youngest but much more mature?' you thought to yourself, standing up after filling the other two jars of sap.

you turned around to look at your three teammates before walking over to them.

at that moment, Alice stopped the lecture and they all looked at you.

"we all done?" she asked.

you nodded your head and handed the two jars of sap to the siblings.

you gave them a thumbs up, but it faltered.

because your ears twitched when you heard a shout for help.

like a flash, your head snapped over to where you heard it.

"everything alright?"

you llifted 3 fingers and motioned to move.

"are you sure? what about you?"

you did a motion of pushing glasses up.

"you're going to miss goodwitch? alright, we'll see you there."

and so, the three left with your order. you had yourself begun to go the other direction towards where the teacher would be.
