World of Discrimination

dawn finally arrived in south korea, his dream place. he was met with the staff that would be looking after him, they were shocked to hear that dawn was able to speak korean. dawn was also forced to learn korean at his time in his company, so i guess that was something positive from his company.

his babyface and positive attitude towards being here was something that made the staff love him, they took him to the taxi where he was asked if he had prepared a performance. luckily, he's been practicing for a while so he's prepared, with a smile on his face he asked how long would it take to reach the location and would they immediately start their performance.

to his surprise, the staff was shocked to hear that last question, of course not. but for dawn that was normal as even when they came from a long trip, they were expected to always return to the studio to practice. everyday it was practice over practice and it was hard to remember how weak your body could get.

dawn was also quite shocked to hear that they were going to get a days rest at a dorm, he was never given this type of treatment especially since he grew up in a less fortunate family. for majority of the car ride he could be seen sleeping whilst the staff members adored him especially since they've never seen someone as cute as him so they mistook him for someone younger than 18.

but when they checked his information, they were in even more shock to find out that he was currently 18. let's just say that dawn had a face of a 12 year old, pure and young. he was also 173cm which also didn't help the fact that he looked young so altogether a reason why many mistook his age to be younger.

when the destination was finally reached, the staff gently patted him awake. dawn woke up to seeing two faces trying to wake him up, he felt refreshed after getting some sleep and he thanked the staff for driving him all the way to this location.

as he was about to grab his belongings, the staff insisted that they would grab it for him. dawn was shocked, this was a new world he was living in because never in his life of 18 years he's been treated like this.

he walked inside the building to find out that there was a list of who was in which rooms, dawn was on 3rd floor in the 6th room. luckily he wouldn't be sharing with anyone as the producers didn't want any of the contestants to find out who was in the survival show as they may know each other. but dawn didn't know anyone so there was nothing much he could do about that.

as he unlocked the door to his room, he suddenly heard voices coming over. they sounded young and as they got closer, dawn went inside as he suddenly remembered the rule of not allowing anyone to see you. the room was a comfy single bed room with a bathroom connected, as he looked out the window he noticed the view and this was something he's always wanted to see but never got the chance.

he was feeling somewhat nostalgic as he remembered the times as a child that he would climb up buildings just to see the view but now he was inside a pretty building seeing the beautiful view of korea. how time has changed for us, dawn decided to grab a snack from his suitcases as he was getting hungry.

he suddenly remembered that he had to text his parents and friends, he was too busy looking at the view that he immediately forgot about it. as he grabbed his phone out, he accidentally opened twitter and noticed that fans (he's apart of a kpop news community) of a community he's joined are finding out that shooting for boys planet is tomorrow.

"hi, i'm finally here and wow the view is better than we thought it would be. i just found out that shooting is tomorrow, they also let us have a days rest and they were shocked to see my reaction as you know how badly they did us. i really miss you guys so much.

i'll talk to you later."

dawn sent a voice message to his parents and had some extra sleep.

he had a dream that he debuted but under bright lights where people started cheering his name, however dawn was crying. he didn't know if it was happy or sad tears and he couldn't see the faces of those who were also debuting with him but all he knew was that fans cheered really loudly for him despite that dawn was feeling somewhat uncomfortable.

when he woke up, he had been sweating a lot. dawn just brushed it off as a dream knowing that it would be impossible to debut especially since he came from a poor family so that was a harsh reality he would have to face but no matter what he would still fight for it.

he got up, went to the bathroom, brushed his teeth and did his skincare. he got a text back from his parents which told him to take many breaks and to just have fun, dawn was grateful that his parents supported his dreams.

in the middle of doing his skincare, he got a text from the staff telling the trainees to come out one by one. since dawn was in the top floor, he would come out last so that was good as that gave him extra time to do what he had to do.

he could hear many voices coming from downstairs, perhaps there was a huge group apart of the competition. all dawn knew was that companies from korea sent out a soloist or a group to debut, but being all alone coming from a foreign country was hard so dawn would definitely struggle.

he knew the struggles of foreign trainees as he's always heard about what someone went through whenever someone would come back home after being at korea for a week and how badly they were treated so that definitely scared dawn to even come here but this was his dream.

so when he finally got the text to come out with his performance outfit, he went out with confidence knowing that he was one of the hundred that joined the show that this was their dream so they were all here to fight for it.

he went inside the vehicle where they drove to the stadium where they had to meet up, this time the road he was on had a better view. if you hadn't noticed by now is that dawn loved the view and would occasionally take pictures for social media or for his future self to go back and remember all the memories.

the stadium they were supposed to arrive at was even more beautiful then he ever imagined, it was just like his dream place and he's never seen something like this especially since they was something he's only seen online or tv.

when he went inside there was a front reception to confirm that they have your name spelt correctly and to see if there's anyone missing to find a replacement.
