World of Discrimination

dawn's head was the annoying thing that woke him up this early in the morning, even though they were asked to wake up early dawn woke up a bit too early. his thoughts were pacing around not even stopping once, he couldn't control them so he just woke up and headed to the bathroom that was connected to the dorm.

looking at himself in the mirror was a struggle as some days he felt confident but other days he felt ugly, did everyone feel this way or was this just him? however today must be his lucky day as he felt good and confident maybe since it was the shooting for the signal song!

feeling lonely and somewhat nostalgic about all the training he's done to get to his point, he grabbed his heavy jacket and headed outside once again. it was like staying outside helped him calm down and hit him back to reality, but to his surprise there was a tall figure already in his usual spot. he couldn't make out who it was as their back was facing dawn's direction, but as dawn was about to walk away the man suddenly spoke up.

"sit with me."

hearing the sudden words come out of his voice, dawn had no option but to sit next to this man. that was when he realised who it was, as he was about to sit he suddenly got the memory of bumping into jiwoong during the star level test. kim jiwoong, he always looked serious as dawn's never really met him but seen him on the korean drama 'kissable lips' so seeing him was quite scary for dawn.

"do you remember bumping into me?" he suddenly spoke once again after the silence, dawn was suddenly taken aback as he was getting used to awkward silent. it felt like jiwoong was trying to torture dawn by making him scared then comfortable and then surprised, what was his plan?

with a soft voice, dawn said yes as he didn't want to speak too many words fearing that jiwoong was going to try expose him especially since he's a known person.

"why do you look so scared? you're so cute when you look like that but please don't be afraid, ever since you bumped into me i was afraid that you weren't going to talk to me." dawn suddenly turned his head and realised jiwoong was already staring back at him, not knowing what to do dawn apologised which jiwoong found quite hilarious as he did nothing.

"what are you doing out here, and don't worry about me telling anyone. i'll keep my mouth shut." jiwoong asked as he didn't really expect anyone to be awake this early, so seeing dawn head outside was a shock.

"well, i've got a lot on my head and that kept me awake for majority of the night. you know seeing you act on a bl was quite surprising, im grateful that you did that." dawn turned to him, jiwoong looked at him and realised that dawn did look like he had no sleep but jiwoong handed him some tablets which could help him stay awake.

"don't worry, i take them everytime i struggle to sleep." jiwoong said as he could tell from dawn's expression that he was a bit scared so he took the medicine to prove that it wasn't dangerous, but as dawn swallowed the tablet he felt better immediately and thanked him.

"let's start heading to the stage. i think majority of the people should be awake by now if not i guess we're the earliest." jiwoong got up as he put out his hand waiting for dawn to grab it, and yes dawn did grab it. they walked together to the stage where a few trainees were there waiting patiently such as zhang hao, dawn waved goodbye to the jiwoong who he found mysterious but yet calming.

that was when the makeup artists and stylists had arrived, luckily since dawn arrived early this meant they were going to be the first people to be prepared for the shooting. a middle aged women was doing his makeup, she was sweet and made sure dawn was comfortable with how he felt.

"dawn, is it?" she asked as dawn smiled and replied yes, she would ask questions such as why he joined the show. she was really sweet about it and gave him some sweets and chocolates, dawn didn't feel comfortable taking it but she kept persisting as she could tell dawn wasn't feeling so well and wanted him to eat.

"now dawn, have fun on the stage and smile!" she said as dawn hugged her and thanked her for doing his make up. he hoped that whenever there was a make up session, he would have her as their artist!

the rest of the day was a blur, the shooting take many times but at least they were having fun. dawn knew he did his best and was excited to see a preview of it before they were heading back to their dorms after a long day.

- cafeteria -

dawn was with the yuehuas sitting down with their food, they were tired from a long day but still food was food so that was a benefit of being there.

"that was fun! i was jealous that hanbin took the highlight but still he was kind and quite cute." hao said as both ricky and dawn looked at each other knowing that hao was definitely going through something with hanbin.

"well, since you're giving me that look. what were you doing with jiwoong early in the morning?" dawn felt so exposed but found it funny how everyone on the table immediately turned their attention to him.

"i couldn't sleep so i just went outside and he invited me to sit with him, nothing else. it's not like we did anything plus i get guys are my type but still i don't like every guy." dawn said as everyone looked at him in surprise, that's when it hit him, he just came out.

"YOU'RE GAY!?" both yujin and seungeon quietly whispered not wanting anyone to hear, dawn found it so funny and nodded his head. everyone on the table was quite silent until ollie told him he supported him, which was so cute as he didn't have to do that for him.

"im not shocked, i could tell." hao jokingly said as dawn slapped him on his arms but one person was particularly quieter than usual, gyuvin. both ricky and yujin, his closest friends, could tell something was off so the three of them went off to talk about what was wrong.

"anyways, i heard some trainees talking about how they overheard some of the staff talking about how they're starting the missions tomorrow!" seungeon said as dawn looked at him in shock, he was afraid for what was up but he knew that whatever obstacle was infront of him he was still going to destroy it.

"thanks for being here again guys, im going to sleep now!"
